Fuel economy is 35mpg on 10th and 11th gen si's highway if you drive normal. I have both.

hi i just did a stage 1 on my fk8 2021 with injen cold air intake and the maf gets out of range when i pull the thotle and the ECU turns off the turbo (the turbo is limited by pressure) this maf will solve the problem? The dyno gave a nice 392HP PS: i dont want to re scale the maf values

Website shows the carb legal version for 11th gen civic sedan 1.5t I have the ex-l hatchback 1.5t would it works the same for my car or is it specific to the sedan version

I get that Hondata are just doing what customers want, so this is directed at those customers, not Hondata: pops and bangs are stupid. It’s not making any more power or improving response, and it’s hard on cats on other hard parts that get hot. Just don’t.

Any theories as to why the torque cuts so drastically at 3500rpm? The flat curve from 4000-5600 looks great, but that brief spike is intriguing both by how high and how brief it is.

Can you post the uncorrected numbers? Standard SAE correction isn’t quite correct for boosted engines. (It’s for n/a engine only really).

What's the Dyno results with Hondata paired with an intake system like Eventuri or Infinity Design? More than hp gains, the intake adds an induction and turbo sound that the stock FL5 lacks.

I am from Japan, and my type r code is fl5-110XXXX. The spoon, our seller said that hondata cannot be used on cars after fl5-110, the US side can't solve this problem either. May I ask when you can crack it? Is there any progress?

My GSR with its B18C1 with some bolt-ons and a tune got 31-33 strictly highway around 70-75mph. My eg with a b16 and shorter gears got 34-36 slower highway speeds.

He said better upgrade over k series? Lol he also said 18mpg with the stock engine? He’s comparing a modern engine to an old neglected engine that burns oil.. an old engine will still get 25mpg, I’ve gotten 30mpg combined from a high mileage bone stock b18c1. The rod bolts on that l15 are the same size as the oil pan bolts on my 1991 gsr swapped Integra.. no doubt it’s a nice modern swap, but saying it’s better than a turbo k series is wild..

Stock L15 Turbo runs on regular gas right? If so then its a win! How many DI/T combos out there run good on regular? Accord 2.0T is one of them too

Run good on regular? They see a lot of knock on regular, reducing boost and timing why would you even put regular on anything turbo charged

@@aggnal2892 yes, my coyote was boosted, had a g20 bmw “turbo” i daily now an Fe1 24 Si also know the basics of tuning and these Hondas DONT LIKE 87. The knock sensors have a party and reduce a lot of timing and boost to prevent failure. Can you run it sure the car will adapt to it, SHOULD YOU RUN IT ON A TURBO CHARGED D.I engine? Hell no why would you

the mileage specs are a off on the original GSR. I had a 95 GSR for 13 years, modded for 12 of them, lol. Had I/H/E, ITR intake cam, and cam gears (177whp on a dynojet). I never saw below 23-24mpg's, even in stop and go traffic. I averaged 28-29mpg on my daily commute, and could get 32-34 on the highway. There's no way you'd get 18mpg on these unless something was seriously wrong. That said, this swap is pretty awesome. I bet it feels wayyy better due to the L15 making way more torque than my B18C could dream about. and 40+mpg is insane.

This swap came out 5 years too early. There are too many K Series loyalists who will shit on this vs looking at the big picture. Then when K Series become expensive, they’ll be running to the L Series and bragging about the streetable horsepower and MPG

I'm very sure you guys are teens 😂 outsiders will shit on the k , I haven't seen anyone shit on H or B they dont know about F... they do have a problem with D series tho; that's just the guys hunting for big power an the fact will remain if your car came with it leave it. If it needs a replacement change it. For me if this motor sounds better ....I'll go with it if not k remains the way the truth and the light .

Yeah I agree. I'm not a loyalist, I got into the honda game pretty late in my life, was introduced to H-series, and then K-series. But man, these builds are just getting more and more interesting. Lately G23 has been on my feed lately to which I knew nothing about and didn't even fathom was possible! But Honda truly is a wonderful platform to play around with. I don't like the direction that Honda has been going in lately, but at the end of the day they are competing against the world and its turbochargers, so I get where Honda is coming from with the changes.
