got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

I like it all. Just enough and not too much gold. The modern Seamaster is so good and this thing is purdy. Not a horrendous price if ur comparing to say a sub. This is unique while still being an icon. Gold plated hands is kinda lame though...

I was initially ambivalent, bordering on being totally dismissive of this watch, thinking it a bit gauche and rather gaudy with that flash bezel etc... But it's REALLY been growing on me, the more I look at it!! As you say, it's a very pretty watch...super classy!! There is another difference on the white dial that you didn't mention. This difference makes huge difference on the dial appearance. The waves are different. On regular disl the waves are made inside. On this dial the waves are made to stick out of the disl. That's very significant difference which makes this particular white dial look very very different.

I’ve got the white dial Seamaster with bracelet and rubber and I love it. This one……. Not really, I’ve never been a gold sort of person and this just doesn’t do it for me. As for it becoming “special” and collectible I can’t see that for another 30 years. Then the kids who watched the Olympics will have enough disposable income to buy their childhood dreams.

Commemorative omega watches have always been a niche. I don't think they ever made one that has been successful and desired by general watch enthusiasts. That being said, this concept could be a viable, lower cost alternative to Rolex Yacht Master. Lose the damn escape valve, go for real gold/platinum components, and that bracelet...damn Omega, time to finally do something about it.

Also, Omega isn’t commenting on the matter and doesn’t have controversial Olympic sports ambassadors. I’m not a fan of the woke stuff either but I think they are managing it well. @@mindfulawareness1 I have the Seamaster 300M. It has a great movement inside it, but I find it to be really quite uncomfortable with the bracelet, and much too big now. If you have a really big wrist, it should look fine, but after wearing smaller watches, including the 36mm Explorer, it now looks rather cumbersome and inelegant to my eye. I've heard the new no-date one might be in 40mm. If so, it would be worth a look at least.

Seamaster is already the most ugly diving watch ever and now is even more horrible. Omega really rushed this diving watch just to try to compete with Sub but with those shrek ears,slab case,awfull skeleton hands,bezel wich has no grip or style whatsoever and that braclet which looks like it came from ali express this is very average diving style watch!! Biggest shame for Omega is that even freaking Tag done octagonal bezel way better.
