Yet another reason why I love your channel….the honesty is real!! Nailboo is definitely not a boo, a friend, or anything else to the dip community 😂. I can’t believe a company would reach out to you and from reading other comments here, others and ask for their products to be reviewed on YT….blows my mind 🤯. When I saw you first pull the brush out, (the struggle was real) and saw how stringy they were….I 😱 gasped!! I will give you major credit for continuing on for as long as you did with their liquids and was amazed that the 🎃 nail came out so cute despite the liquids….oh, about that clear 😂😂 it definitely needs a name change….that was just sad!! Anyway, thanks so much for this video, I had a good laugh at the liquids, the pink powder looked amazing on you, so that was one positive thing about the company I guess. PS…. I hope my comment doesn’t disappear….when will YT stop blaming this problem on customers having inappropriate comments and admit that it’s an issue on their side, UGH!!

A few things, thanks for your honest review of Nailboo. I ordered this kit back in August and have not used it yet. The activator bottle leaked and was empty upon arrival! They said they'd mail me a new one and the cuticle tool which I never received. Didn't ever receive these replacement items. After many emails, they said they'd refund part of my payment, which they did. I still can't use the kit because I have no activator and it is not available for a single purchase. Do you have a favorite dip powder? I will be buying your peel off base and the activator/top coat set you used.
@CaroleAnnette3 жыл бұрын
Do you have dip liquids from other brands by any chance? If so, perhaps you can use those with their powders (I think it worked out better for me this way) But that is such a frustrating experience 😭😩 I love buying from quite a few brands: - Sol Dips - Mani Boss - Triple D - Kimberz Kreations - CN Designer Dips If you want larger sizes, these brands only sell small jars. Companies like Revel Nail will be a better option if you want jars as large as NailBoo.

@@CaroleAnnette thanks for the reply! I did buy the Revel activator. I will buy your Triple D liquids. With the peel off base you use, there is no soaking of nails to get the dip off? Does it cure under an LED light? Any damage to your nails?

Correct, no soaking off required for the peel base and no type of lamp needed. It air dries. I don’t experience damage because I don’t use it on my natural nail. I know others who have success using peel base on their natural nail with no damage, but it scares me to try.

The directions which are to be actually read and followed by the consumer instruct thin layers and to repeat as/or if needed. This instruction has interface with the chemical reaction. You were heavily laying this on. Other factors are subjective. My experience was great and I have watched countless other Nailboo review videos with nothing condescending stated or concluded. There is a difference between an honest review and an unfair, misleading & ill-advised review. This is truly a great product that I want to locate, use and see long-term.

I tried to do thin layers, but the liquids were thick in comparison to their competitors. Not to mention how difficult it was to get the brush out of the bottle. I had the same trouble with the base coat. Four fingernails into my manicure and I couldn't get the brush to stay in the cap. I had to use the brush without the cap to finish, which - of course - you know made somewhat of a mess. So, between trying to keep the stuff off of my fingers and get it done neatly I am extremely disappointed. And this was my first time using any dip kit. Very annoyed right now. I can't decide if I want to finish my nails or take it all of and just use Sally Hansen Quick Dry. SMH

So how long does this process *IRT* actually take for a beginner, someone who has never attempted this before - just a straight color? Because this is a 19.5 min video, with quite a bit of video magic (elapsed time editing). It seems to me that this would take me about 2 hours to complete and it would still look like a train wreck. I don't have 2 hrs to devote to this. I dot hit the Salon, but it turns out to be once a month - and that's pretty much the only me time I get. That takes me 45 min for a gel, french manicure.
