Hey Robert, great review! It's pretty incredible that it picks up a signal from such a stupid distance away! I guess mileage varies from system to system. I have a a cheap Joyo set and I find it acts more as it's own noise suppressor, as if it's cutting off the weakest inputs. Great for plugging into an amp, but into a modeler I find it lacks punch.

No wireless, can't beat a good cable. No noise, full bandwidth and always reliable. Great vid and channel man. Keep it coming

Unfortunately most of those mini wireless devices are spinning around in the input jack. That's why I got me a pouch for the guitar strap with an extended cable. Btw I tested the Mii device too and did not get the static noise. Sent it back anyway though.

Boss makes the best wireless system.

Approaching $100 I would splurge for a line 6 g10. Amazon sells a few different cheap ones for 40 bucks. They are great for playing around the house but I wouldn't trust it in a live situation. I got the Getaria one.

I borrowed a Nady wireless system at my first-show in 1986. I had to set the receiver 3-feet away and a foot above my amp for it to work correctly. It worked for the whole set, but I was a bit nervous. Wireless has come a long way.

I like wireless but mostly just use it around the house. I got pretty tired of dumb stuff breaking so i currently have the boss pedal type thing. Its pretty good but before any low batt lights show up it gets noisy and i have to charge it and the static goes away. Idk if youve put a full charge on those or not

Did you remember to return the lawnmower you borrowed from ol' Doc Farnsworth ? You know how angry he gets, the crazy old coot.

Lol, I understand the need for cleaner playing area where you wont kill yourself by tripping over instrument cables. Annnd I hate this word, BUT no one needs a wireless system in a small home studio or a small gig area. But its never about need its always about the want and the LCF (look cool factor).

I second the reccomendations on the JOYO wireless, a tight fit and quiet. Qualities desired in many mechanical devices. That Mii is twice the size of the JOYO too. I can imagine working in their warehouse going "he's going to say its noisy as hell and fits loose as a goose but go ahead and send it!"

I've been gigging with a cheap Swiff wireless. I haven't had any issues but my bass player bought one and broke it. I'm going to upgrade to something better

Through the years, playing on big and small venues, I used samson and shure wireless systems But now i use all the time my super simple lekato 5.8 wireless plugs It is super reliable and easy to carry it everywhere Best part? Costed me $50

I have a couple sets from other brands that work well enough for around the house, but those things look enormous and heavy. I wonder if changing the channel on the systems would fix the noise problem.

I still have my Shure PG that I got decades ago from GC that works great. I prefer a wireless pack so I can run it to my strap. I've never found the little all-in-one packs to be good. They either fit too tight, not tight enough, don't go into some guitars with weird routes... It's just best to have one that uses a regular wire. That said, Good video with an honest review. Too bad they're junk.

Yeah the joyo is awesome. I plugged one in my mouth the other in @$$. I had bad breath for a week. Of course that may be bc I was asked to recreate the scenario again and I'm pretty sure I lost that 50/50...😮

5.8ghz can't have the same reach as 2.4 because physics, but it might be a great solution for players with too much traffic in the 2.4ghz range.

I think you’re the guy that recommended the super cheap Joyo system. It’s great! I use it all the time including playing out. Never had a single issue with it.

I have the joyo version of this and I get noise when in the same room as my tv. Perhaps some of the electronics in the room are causing it.

I have a question. What's better? Lekato ws80 or 1mii. Thx for reply.

At the end of the day, they’re the same thing. I wouldn’t spend a dime on either one of them. Spend a little more and get a Shure GLX-D or BLX wireless system, Line 6 Relay, or even the Sennheiser XSW 1 or XSW 2.

hmmm....I am interested in something like that, but in my studio/office 10-12 foot is just enough to cover the room :p... I wouldn't mind that for Christmas...anyone? hello?.... :) (that's for my family)

I have an XVIVE. It cost but works well. Guess it was worth what it cost. It’s better than that thing. 😉

This is what I’m using as well and it works beautifully, no latencies that I can detect, no noise and it sits nicely in the socket so it’s not spinning around like the one Robert is reviewing here.

@@TommySG1 The only issue I have is my Ibanez S model. It won’t fit the recessed socket. It’s one of 40 guitars and I rarely play it though so it doesn’t bother me. lol

"hello, police? yes. there's a bald guy outside my bathroom window looking in at me playing his guitar" LMAO jk! liked the demo. wireless systems have gotten a lot better and more affordable in the last 25+ years. i just don't wanna cut the cord again; just too much aggravation if/ when things go wrong. they're nice until you have a spinal tap moment LOL!
