BenQ sent me the EX3415R 34" 1900R 144hz 1440p 1ms display, and while I did find a couple of extremely small things, overall I LOVE this monitor.

With your review did you load the specific ICM Monitor profile for the monitor. It usually comes with the monitor on a cd or you can get it from benQ's Website can help with the color profiles from the start.

@@Onepeg fair enough i did that with my LG UltraGear 34GK950F-B 34in and it helped with the default Color profile Ultra wide gaming is nice even in tarkov i like the extra peripheral vision you get

Big monitor make dent happy - All dentness aside.. BenQ is an awesome brand, I have several of their products and have always been pleased with it all. Even if its 144hz, honestly that is all you ever need. 240hz is nice but not needed. The fact its a 34' ultraride 1440p monitor with 1ms has me sold alone. Only con I see for some is the price tag [$999.99 on website] BUT, that is also VERY solid for what it offers because anything close to the stats goes well over $1,200 starting price. As long as you don't rage and punch your monitor I think it won't be a problem. You tested all the features and gave a good in depth review, good job Onepeg I would love to try this thing out myself sometime and well maybe I will..this would meet most requirements as long as you system can handle it.

Too early, 360p. Another thing, correct me if Im wrong, QLEDs only come in VA Panels, not IPS.

@@Onepeg that would explain why it had better/deeper blacks vs ips’ washed out contrast. My curse about knowing so much about monitors means my dream monitor does not exist and if it did, would cost easily $3000-4000. But this is 100% a good monitor.

Dude I'm here for all the new OnePeg content, great review. Although is it just me or has anyone else never gotten a riser for a monitor? I actually have a curved ultra wide Samsung (waay older) and I always use the large washers/spacers that came with the monitor arm

Yeah sometimes they have spacers, I'm just not a fan of them, and samsung does a great job with including hardware to make sure it's mountable. Just a good feature I wish benq included with a premium-level product like this one.

in regards to the corners of the screen and how that anti reflection coating does not seem to go to the edge i can tell you that's pretty typical of a lot of displays and normal. i had an alienware aw3421dw with the same thing, i then sold that and got an alienware aw3821dw and that had the same thing, i then sold that and replaced it with a 48in LG C1 oled display and that does not have it... that is ofcourse because the LG C1 is a TV with a gloss finish rather than having that layer of anti reflection coating applied. a couple of years ago i had a asus pg279q which i don't remember having that same issue in the corners even though it was a similar anti reflective finish so maybe they are doing something different these days with newer displays or the process of how they apply it that's different, whatever it is i can say its normal and ive seen it on numerous very high end ultrawide displays. i do have a theory on this though... i believe its like when you apply a screen protector to a mobile phone, it rarely goes all the way to the very edge right because when you put a case on that phone it will interfere with the protector and cause it to come away from the screen, i believe the coating applied to the screen is done so that way to avoid contact with the bezel which is then applied to the screen, if it went to the very very edge of the corners and edges maybe it would cause a premature peeling of that coating and so they cut it mm's short for that reason and you can see as you move the display the coating is short all the way around the screen by the smallest amount as the light reflects between the bezel and the coating. as far as HDR goes, i wouldn't even mention HDR as a selling point, its lacklustre on most monitors that do not have full array dimming at the very least, my alienware aw3821dw was a £1300 display with HDR600 but only had edge lit local dimming and it was just crap for HDR, moving to the OLED is a whole different ballgame and really puts into perspective how bad typical monitors are at doing HDR but thats to be expected with every single one of the 8 million plus pixels having the ability to switch on and off unlike an LCD monitor. either way great video review actually i like the fact you pointed out issues without hesitation, good for you bro.

i just bought 2 of these yesterday, but how the hell u turn off the freesync on pc, usally u can go into the monitor settings and turn it off, but i cant seem to find it, and its always on when im gaming on my rx 6950... please help

I like the sponsored review, or showcase, or whatever you want to call it. It’s not an independent review, and probably needs a #ad in the title and the “Sponsored Content” banner (I don’t see it, if you meant to put it there) I appreciate that you disclosed (verbally) that the monitor was a “gift”, but also pretty clear that there was an expectation of a published review. It’s not clear how much “editorial direction” was provided by BenQ, if any. Are those affiliate links? I know this isn’t your normal content, and it’s pretty standard industry practice to send a device to creators who want to make a video about it and give them affiliate links - but it’s still worth getting the full disclosures in the description and such.

When I do research on a product I definitely want to know everything about it, 360 degrees and any future considerations. BenQ's dark and colors in general are horrible at high refresh rates. I've had a couple and now I have a Dell 144hz and I like the colors SO much more. //non HDRs

That has nothing to do with the brand. That’s all about what panel the monitor used. Fit-and-finish, OSD options, speaker quality, stand quality - those matter to a brand. The panel itself is just “which one should we buy from the panel supplier” BenQ and Dell have access to the same kinds of displays since neither company manufactures their own screens.
