Everyone should have a Tim in their life. I wish I had a mentor to refer to but I can't think of anyone who motivated me. I had the opposite situation; I had to overcome negative messages to achieve my goals of being a Montessori teacher. Rather than feeling like a disappointment, I strove to be a motivation to others... Not everyone has good parenting. I broke the cycle and raised two fantastic kids who I am so proud of. I think I am their inspiration. ...and parents have told me I inspired them to be better once they saw the remarkable capabilities of the children (my students.)

My sister when I was 16. We were in a unpleasant place and my sister said go get a degree, any degree or else this is where you will be stuck forever. It’s been 30 years and times have changed where you really don’t need a degree in a lot of things, education is everywhere and most free now like KZbin. I will alway be glad she said that. I came a long way. It was hard but worth it. And the journey continues. ❤❤❤

This was so much fun. My answer about who inspired me goes back to high school. My senior year, I took humanities. My teacher handed me my first paper and it was covered in red ink. He gave me a B minus, which bummed me out at first. But then I flipped to the last page, and saw that he had written a comment saying that I was a good writer but he knew I could do better. That really inspired me to push myself as a writer and I can honestly say that I wouldn't be a professional writer today if that moment hadn't happened.

When Katie and Tim were taste testing the chile relleno I was drooling it looked scrumptious! Unfortunately I have a massive food allergy to cheese/dairy - so chille relleno from the store or restraunt is a big "No-No-Food" for me - don't wanna have stomach cramps due to lactose intolerance. I have made my own chile relleno at home and it is a labor intensive recipie with many steps but worth it - pretty simple ingredients - the egg is part of the wrapper covering, green whole chili, spicy salsa sauce and instead of cheese, I stuff the center of the chili relleno with a combo of brown rice, minced onions, crumbled tofu. Most recipies insist the cover wrapper part is deep fried - but instead I just bake it in the air fryer instead and it still turns out nice and tasty.

So my husband is always such an inspiration to me, but recently, I’ve had a newer friend who has really been such a blessing in my life and I’ve been so thankful for her in so many ways. she is such a great lady and we have the kind of relationship where we encourage each other and share with each other. My co-worker is from Wisconsin and I brought in a Kringle one time to share with the office. He said it was from his hometown and loved them. I told him it was from TJs. Yes, costs a little more now, but have you looked at how much they are if you order direct from the bakery online? Over $24 each plus shipping. If you want a smaller portion, cut them in sections and freeze them individually.

Tim has always been a "hearty eater" and he has a great deal of gusto, good humor when he likes a certain food in the taste test - even more hilarious is when he does NOT like something - Tim's eye-rolling and facial expressions when he eats his nemesis such as PICKLES are hilarious! He also is ideologically opposed to TRUFFLES - for the sake of the taste test he will eat it but then grimaces and seems to be in severe distress....it is very hilarious and part of his "schtick" - very funny guy!

The most life changing event in my life happened when I was 19 years old. Through my mom and dad in law, I realized my need for God and faith in Him. I asked Jesus Christ into my heart and life and He has always been there for me, no matter what. He gives me strength and comfort. I lost my son 12 years ago and it is my faith in God that has been my comfort one day at a time.

I agree with you regarding overnight oats. I love oatmeal and make my own granola, but I have never enjoyed eating overnight oats because to they are so mushy. It's a different texture, even from boiled oats.

My store had the lemon sheet cake yesterday. 🙌🏻. It’s phenomenal! For me, last year at my annual physical, the dr very gently had a conversation with me about health and my weight. She did it in a way that opened my eyes to the fact I needed to get healthy. I actually listened to what she said instead of being defensive. It was all in how she said it. I had my son late in life and want to be around for a long time. It’s been a year now and I’ve changed my whole mindset and have lost 63 lbs (so far). I’m exercising regularly and tracking my food. I feel like a different person. Physically and mentally.

so because you told us to get the Mochi crunchy thingies (? the things that tastes like buttered popcorn) I almost got the whole section (minus the spicy mochi) man was i glad to get a bunch of them, also we almost ran out of dill pickle chips (or the pickle chips) and right as i was checking out, (shout out to the guy who was unboxing them) he asked me how many bags i wanted; I was nice and asked for 2-yes i did my happy pickle chip dance, yes i have a happy pickle chip dance-; I already had 2 bags of the PIzza party chips. If you ever see them, be warned though they have like a meat lovers flavor. (i personally like that in pizza chips, but ik you cant have that) so someone told me to eat them all at once. (and not one at a time if you can find them, i dono if they´re seasonal or not, but if you can find them and try them next time, that would make my day so much! They have mini cheese burgers at my tjs so exited for those!

I was in the store the other day and saw the "Blarney Scone" soda bread (maybe eaten with some Irish butter) in the fresh bakery item section! 😂 Unlike most holidays, St. Patrick's Day is known for savory items and not sweets, so that's probably why they only offer the soda bread, corned beef, Irish cheddar and beer!

My best friend, a high school principal , called and offered me a part time job as an assistant in the English department for “at risk” students. That was a great taste test and I really enjoyed the nut competition! I'll have to try some of those :-) when it comes to motivating me, since I was a little girl it had to be my mom. I remember growing up and seeing all the things she did, not only taking care of me and working but working at Boeing in Seattle on airplanes in the late seventies and early '80s when it was all men working on airplanes. My mom was making as much money as the guys were I can remember one Christmas getting all these toys at the kitchen table just for me, as I was an only child. I remember looking at her like she was a superhero! It taught me that women can do anything they want to at a young age, and of course later in life I added Madonna to my inspiration when I saw her for the first time in 1984 when I was 11 years old. These two women have given me strength throughout the years and I'm so grateful!

I promise I am walking out the front door right now and getting a life, but just one more tiny thing...I heard the rave reviews re the lemon cake, missed the boat last year, bought it today, it's nothing to write home about. Just stock up on the Meyer Lemon Cake Mix🤗 The Kringle? OMG my sons are grown, I live alone and I have no business buying a massive Kringle but raspberry?😯 Second to the almond and I wish they'd hurry up already and do raspberry almond. I cut it into the 12 serving slices, freeze and pop one in the air fryer for a l'il coffee pastry morning. Bottom line? I buy things from Trader Joe's that I'd never indulge in, but they present things as 'seasonal' and it makes it nearly impossible to *not* buy🥺 God forbid I go a year without Molasses Sandwich Cookies 🙄

I was a people pleaser and overachiever. A Christian lady I worked with said to me that I can't be a good steward of God when you are spreading yourself too thin and you won't be good at anything or for anyone.
