The price of the spring rolls might seem high, but just so you know, that is always how they are made traditionally in Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. They consist of almost all vegetables, maybe some rice noodles, and a tiny thin layer on one side of tofu or shrimp. They are never seasoned, but sometimes have fresh herbs, i.e. mint inside. The dipping sauce does provide the flavor.

I think they're absolutely worth the price for me. My local grocery store makes these along with fresh sushi, so I always buy the spring rolls, and you get 4 small ones for the same price. I'll be buying the shrimp one next time I go shopping at Trader Joe's.

I love the (frozen) spinach artichoke dip with pita bread! I also love the chocolate covered marshmallows, the dark chocolate peanut butter cups, and the (frozen) chocolate croissants. My puppy loves the peanut butter sticks and the freeze dried chicken 🙂

Favorite Trader Joe’s product: Chocolaty Coated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dunkers. Total addiction. Must have them in the house. Sometimes my local store runs out so I have to drive 5 miles to the next TJ’s. No problem. Well worth time & effort.

One of my top favorite TJ products is the Green Goddess seasoning mix! I put the on so many things. Among the discontinued items would be the chicken Chile lime burgers. I was really disappointed when those were discontinued.

Great, honest taste test, as always! Katie, I REALLY like that you mentioned it would be worth it to make the spring rolls at home! If you could do more of that with future products, that you think are good but not worth the price, I think that would be helpful and very much appreciated. Woth everything being so expensive, it's good to know what's worth our money and what isn't. I don't mind paying extra for quality, but when it's basic, non-organic ingredients, it's often hard to justify high prices.

I had to think about the one product I can’t live without from Trader Joe’s and the one product I pick up every time I go. The first product is the Marula oil for my face routine. I never, ever want to run out especially in the winter. My favorite product is the vegetable fried rice. It’s so versatile and I can use it in so many different meals. ❤

I like a number of TJ products. One of my favorites that I haven't been able to get the past year is the Foursome Green Veggies (i forget the proper name, but it's something like that). It's such a good green veggie medly for a nice veggie side dish. The cold pressed pineapple juice, caramelized onion cheddar, and the soy chorizo are also at the top of my favorites list. 😊

My alltime favorite was the confetti rice with lemongrass! I used to make a super chicken soup with 3 items...confetti rice, chicken broth and grilled chicken - all three ffom TJ's. Unfortunately, the rice was discontinued several years ago. A great loss! One of my current favorites is the Green Goddess seasoning blend. Wonderful on almost anything!

My favorite seasonal products are the Step Up To The Bar snack mixes (spicy & regular) and the Platinum Label Cabernet wine. Our weekly regular favorite products are the rosemary croutons, which pair perfectly with all the TJ's organic salad greens (arugula/baby lettuce, etc.). We also love TJ's frozen beef Birrea, sourdough bread, and the quarterly Kringles, which are a fraction of the cost of buying them online.

Yum! I cut the frozen coconut pancakes in half before popping them into a toaster oven for 10 mins at 325 degrees and they turned out great. Crispy outside and custardy inside. Tiny bits of fresh coconut and taro inside. Just like in Thailand!

I just bought the Aglio Olio seasoning too. I added it to the warm olive oil with parmesan cheese with the brown rice yellow lentil spaghetti pasta from TJ's. Delicious! My favorite TJ product has to be the frozen spanish rice. It is so versatile and flavorful to make great skillet meals.

My favorite TJ item--a roasted red pepper and eggplant sauce/dip. It's in a jar on the shelf for 30+ years. (It's called Ajvar in Europe and Middle East) With a soft naan or pita to dip, it's been a staple in our house for years. I loved their rice pudding but it's been discontinued. :( Oh and I love their fiber bars.

Hi guys, love your channel and your reviews. Cardamom is a popular spice in Scandinavian pastry. In Sweden it is common to put ground cardamom in coffee. I grew up having coffee breads made with cardamom and I do agree it’s either like or dislike. Unfortunately here in Rhode Island where we live in colonial times we cannot get wine in our Trader Joe’s or in super markets.

Ooh I looked it up and the Cuy wine you guys tried is from Santa Julia! They make other organic malbecs that I’ve purchased a million times at Mariano’s and Jewel (I’m from the Chicagoland area) so I can recommend it too even before trying it because it’s from an awesome winery that I’ve tried other things from!

Katie I resisted the picnic chips all summer. I am not a big snack person and always loved my sweets. About a year and a half ago I had kemo and my big physical side effect was my taste buds changed. I take a bite of a sweet and I’m done. Now I crave savory, salty, sour. Really weird. I finally got a bag of picnic chips at the end of the season. Ate the whole bag in one sitting. Great taste test, love both of your opinions and find it very helpful and fun. My fav is kind of boring but I buy it all the time and that's the organic Jasmine rice. I add it to soups, stir frys or just a side, love it. Another fav which I guess was just seasonal was the step up to the snack bar mix with the honey mustard pretzel pieces. Yum I could have this mix as a snack every day so maybe good it's not around 😂

Cuban Rice bowl in the freezer section. Non food item the facial wash. (Cleans my skin without drying it out. Its so gentle you can wash over your eyes and it doesn't burn.)
