I also played it at Daytona, it's such a vast improvement. I played NH5 at Daytona the day before and the differences are remarkable. It's definitely going to be a fun game to race on. The prerace stuff they added was also pretty cool as well

May be the first NASCAR game I get at launch since like NASCAR 07 or something. I hope there's an option for manual pit stops and cautions cause then it'll be perfect for me as long as the career mode has some depth.

When I was younger, I used to hate nascar fans for expecting too much from nascar fans, but as I have gotten older, I have realized that different fans have different preferences, I like simulations games, but I also didnt mind the heat games, idk if I would play the heat games every again because they got stale after a while, but I honestly like both arcade and simulation style nascar games. I just dont expect every little detail in nascar to be exactly replicated in the games. But I am excited for NASCAR 21.

The ability to change pit options on the fly whenever is a staple of PC racing sims, as well as NASCAR sims dating back to the 90's. If you play NR03 I believe it's the F1 to F12 keys. They have entire screens for tire PSI adjustments, wedge, tape, etc.

Do you think they'll actually let us drive down the pit lane and manually park in the pit stall like the old papyrus games or just do an automatic cutscene like just about every other nascar game? Executing the perfect pit stop and not speeding on pit road are such an important part of any real nascar race, that I feel I'm missing a big part of the experience by not being able to control my own pit stops. I find it weird that nobody else seems to request this feature when a new nascar game is announced. And if papyrus could do it back in 02 and 03 there is no excuse to not doing it now.

I played this at Daytona but they had the ai set really high and I couldn't keep up with them but there were a lot of assist turned on and I think damage was off. It looks really good and when all the assist are turned off and I get my wheel hooked up to it I assume it will feel similar to r factor 2 and that will be good

GOOD! I was hoping someone who played the demo can really express the feeling of how the game felt. There's gonna be mixed review in the beginning but after watching Nascar 21 from different youtube videos makes me feel like, I should get it. I do have Nascar Heat 5 but I wanted something more similar to Iracing when it comes to caution like you're going into single file, pit, single file again, double wide, restart then race again. I don't want to skip out for caution. I'm hoping will be similar to iracing as much as possible.

I gave up up the nascar games and haven’t bought the last 3 just because it wasn’t the same as nascar 09 and I wanted to play online with great quality. I really hope this is the game that brings that great quality back for online racing.

The one thing I liked about the Nascar heat career mode was how it allowed you to run a custom scheme if you felt it was better than a official scheme so I hope at least we get some paint booth to carry over to career because the thought of custom schemes in the career is amazing. PS,I hope we get in nascar 22 ignition a nascar myleague mode

Sounds great! I'm happy. My only concerns so far has been with the trees/NPCs looking poor quality and the AI lines looking a bit unrealistic. But I'm excited to play it! If the physics are good and multiplayer is good, I won't care about the AI. I'll just race online. NASCAR 09 was my most played game because of multiplayer. I expect much more out of NASCAR 22. I expect a very lot out of NASCAR 23 if it's made with Unreal Engine 5.

I'd love to see AI actually have pit strategy, like 4 or 2 tires in the last part of the race. In heat games if a caution comes out with 5 or so laps to go the last cars on the lead lap won't pit

Back in nascar thunder 2003 u had the pit options in game but u had to pause to get them to make the adjustments before Pitting but anyways ik I like what sloppy Joe mentioned in his video was the car indicators rubbing off nascar thunder vibes like u will always know what car number is around u just like how it shown in the nascar thunder games

Looking forward to playing the game come release. I wouldn't be surprised if it ran at 30 fps on the ps4, Xbox one, and the switch when that version comes out, but I expect a 60 fps option will probably happen when the ps5 and series update arrives later on after release. I'm just guessing as I haven't seen anything said about fps, so if it is 60 fps at launch on the ps4 and Xbox one then great.

It was a demo, and the Daytona gameplay said on the left bottom said work in progress, so the game is not finished and the bugs haven't been fixed so its a work in progress, so hopefully the game will be finished and all the bugs will be fixed by October 28th.

Not surpised at all to hear about the graphics. Went from Unity to Unreal Engine 4. Same engine behind SFV, KH3, FF7R, Outer Worlds, the list goes on from hit to hit. Motorsports Games will be able to do things with UE that we only dreamt of with Unity and the Heat games. Can't wait to see what they come up with.

I will be disappointed if you cannot control your car under caution or pit road. Yeah sure, it would be annoying after a while in a single player career mode setting, but it’s needed. It would be nice to be able to drive to the garage during practice or even during the race for heavy damage.
