I like how Keanu Reeves had to play a criminal that could be sentenced to 70 life sentences without parole for the murders he committed just to escape his 'dude' image. Not to mention the three guys he killed with a pencil and the countless others that led to his reputation as the Baba Yaga. Lawyer, son of Satan, cop/FBI agent, football player, computer hacker/world saviour couldn't shake it... Mass murdering psychopath? Nailed it!!

Alex Jackson I think you're missing the point of John Wick. It's not about the crimes he committed or the ethics involved, it's about how good that movie was and it's revitalization of Keanu's career. But seriously, how good was John Wick? I would go as far as saying it's a beautifully done homage to the Golden age of Action movies, aka the 80's.

I think it had to do with his other roles always being the "new" guy who was excited and enamored with what was going on. They always made Keanu seem younger and would bring back memories of the childish innocence of Bill & Ted. John Wick was so hyper-competent that there wasn't the chance for him to evoke those memories and it contrasted against them very well. I think he just needed time to get older roles.

Bill and Ted 3 should be a time travel adventure where older Bill and Ted want to relive their past (dusting off the phone booth in the backyard) to watch their younger selves from afar, ultimately gleaning lyrics from that adventure to create the ONE SONG that changes the entire fabric of the universe, completely eradicating the possibility of war and the excellency of being EXCELLENT to each other and partying on DUDES!

Ah Bill and Ted. It came out the year I was born but I still found a way to become totally obsessed with it freshman year of college. This is probably the greatest comedy of all time. It just never gets old

then Gandalf the Grey and Gandalf the White and "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"'s Black Knight and Benito Mussolini and The Blue Meanie and Cowboy Curtis and Jambi the Genie Robocop, the Terminator, Captain Kirk, and Darth Vader Lo Pan, Superman, every single Power Ranger Bill S. Preston and Theodore Logan, Spock, The Rock, Doc Ock, and Hulk Hogan all came out of no where lightning fast and kicked chuck Norris in his cowboy ass. It was the bloodiest battle the world ever saw with civilians looking on in total awe.

This is one my most favorite movies growing up and still is. This and The Lost Boys both having Alex Winter was awesome. And I love the soundtrack to the Bill N Ted movies. What is funny and ironic is Keanue Reeves was in Point Break right after he Bill N Teds Bogus Journey. And everytime in the first bank scene of the Point Break movie when those FBI agents are making fun of the theory about the bankrobbers being surfers and they mimic a surfer voice; I was thought in a way it was making fun of Keanue's role in BIll N Teds. It was almost referencing it indirectly.
