@@artimuos903 Correct me if I'm wrong, this might just be a book thing, but I'm pretty sure they told harry in the movie that dumbledore regularly paced around his office. It might just be a book thing though. Also in the books, Harry doesn't see pettigrew on the map.

I've seen a theory around with supporting evidence from the books that only the marauders could see each other on the map, in the book Harry never saw Peter Pettigrew on the map so the films got that wrong. Lupin did and he was marauder and it makes sense that nobody could see them on it in case someone found the map and therefore no one could use it to find them.
