@@cf-4233 Frankly, he is the only reason to watch the movie in the first place. Everything else is just a rehash of the first one, the only new thing is Kevin cheating on the hotel staff...and the "I love you" scene is just hillarious. But also the moment when he tells the mom than she shouldn't look for Kevin in the streets.

@harrygoad329
@harrygoad329 2 жыл бұрын
@@shannonardo A few years ago Screen Junkies did a series called Honest Action, where they look at movies and see the injuries and ways characters would have died if it was realistic. One of them was Home Alone 1+2 and in it, they said Marv would have died 5 times from the bricks to the head, which is where the "Skull Fracture with Epidermal Hematoma" bit comes from. I think the videos are still on the channel.

Amazing how I grew up watching this one so much that I didn't even see the first film proper til years later, and I feel bad for that sometimes. In any case, I will never get over how easily they put the bad blood back into this, to the point where they just forgot what a big deal it was he got left behind last year. I know family and all that and taking things for granted, but geez, all this for a sibling he regular has a beef with AND unambiguously ruined his solo?

The epic voice guy should’ve described the four following sequels as this: “Hey, come on, it all worked out great the first time. Why not just try it again? Just don't try it again again, but with a different child and family - HOME ALONE 3 … or again again again, but where Kevin and his family are played by different actors in a cheap made-for-TV movie - HOME ALONE: TAKING BACK THE HOUSE … or again again again again, but in another cheap made-for-TV movie with a different child and family - HOME ALONE: THE HOLIDAY HEIST … and definitely not again again again again again, but in a Disney+ movie with a British family where the child protagonist is an evil little brat and the two burglars are the ones to root for. That would just be stupid. - HOME SWEET HOME ALONE … Seriously, how could this franchise sink so low?”
