schattentaenzerin I know right! I watched it a few days before Christmas, and I was shocked at how violent it was. Why is it that Christmas movies always have to be so messed up, it seems like they're made to mentally scare you. Like that other Christmas movie that's about a blond boy, the one who want's a bb gun I think, then he just ends up having a terrible Christmas.

Saydee Trammell What?! Ralphie gets the Red Rider Carbine Action 200 Shot Range Model Air Rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time in the end of the movie and has an awesome Christmas. You need to watch... well, any channel... all day next Christmas.
@saydeetrammell508010 жыл бұрын
Darth Maul No the whole movie is about an embittered middle aged man who hasn't had a good Christmas in a good 25 years. Think about it the story is narrated by a man in his late 30's early 40's, not the kid you're watching, and he's telling you that this is the best Christmas he's ever had, why else would he choose to talk about this one. So he's telling you that the best Christmas he's had, possibly in his whole life, is the one where he gets kicked in the face by Santa, told his choice in presents is idiotic and that he'll just end up shooting his own eye out, ends up getting punished multiple times (like daily it seems like), gets in a fist fight with the town bully (the one time he doesn't get punished strangely enough), get's a decoder ring that ends up being just trash, then in the end when you finally think something good is going to happen to him, that he'll get his dream gift he's been pining for the whole movie, he shoots his eye out just like everyone had been saying he would the whole movie. Then you see him as the middle aged man he really is and he tells you merry Christmas. The End.

I suppose the reason that Home Alone 3 was so disliked compared to the first two, is that it doesn't feel like a home alone movie if you watched the first two first, and became accustomed to seeing Home Alone in a particular style. Some notable differences the third one has are: A new protagonist A team of four criminals rather than two, the leader of which is actually dangerous An item that the criminals are after which is actually valuable A more realistic premise to why the protagonist is home alone The criminals using high tech equipment for once

When people talk to themselves its more like complaining about someone else and you have no one to talk to about it so you complain about it to yourself cause you need to vent. Kevin isn't doing that here. He is having a full on conversation about what he plans to do with his day. Why would you talk to yourself about that. Even when you do a checklist trying to remember of what all you have to shop for- for example... I got to get the milk, bread, and paper towels' this is also normal, however you don't go into a full story about not being able to find your toothbrush so going into town to pick it up today and all the other stuff he said to himself. he wasn't venting or doing a checklist like when people normally talk to themselves he was having an actual conversation with himself.

Actually, I only have one issue with this video... 02:04 "They only rob in broad daylight!" It's a misconception that most break ins happen at night. Guess where people tend to be at night? At home... Guess where most people are during the day? (Or at least 53% of Americans?) At work... All a robber needs to do is dress like the Gas Man and he can basically come and go into peoples property and no one bats an eye... Nighttime breaks ins are for when they want to rape or kill you... Daytime break ins are when they want your laptop.
