This was actually super helpful. I only have one baby (he was born one day before Elin) and I always freak when he's crying even though I know there's nothing really wrong with him (other than being tired or cranky) but I feel so much better hearing you say that you get used to the crying and sometimes it is ok. I always feel super bad when I don't rush to him right away since he's so young still, so knowing - and hearing from another Mum it's not always required immediately, especially when I'm busy at the moment is really nice.

All of this true. That lack of time is definitely with the toddler a reality check.

I'm the same with my two (3&19months) You've only got 1 pair of hands, and you have to prioritise the needs of your children. The time will come when you can spend that 1 on 1 time with each of them. Your teaching them sharing and patience. X

I remember having one baby and I came back from a walk and I didn't know what to put my hands in. When I entered the door, I was greeted by the cat's vomit scattered all over the hall on the wooden floor, my son started to cry, and I felt that I was about to pee. I wonder what it will be like when the second one is born 😆

How did you prep your son for Ellen’s arrival, since he was so little?

Mine are 20 months old and 9 months old ( there is a gap of 11 months and 3 weeks between my daughters) and the guilt is still present 😢 I think will be there forever. About going out😅 with time became easier, faster. What works for me, for exemplar, when we go to day care with the older one: I wake them up only with 30 min before we go out! Like this, there will be no time to disagree, to play, to argue or something else 😂 I just say: come baby, we go to day care, we need to hurry a little bit, the kids are waiting for you 😁 And, most of the times, it works, and she’ll very cooperative.

I have a 19 month old and a 7th month old and oh boy its an adjustment like the tantrums and jealousy is the worst for my 19th month old other than that they are now best friends they play together. They eat together or more likey she steals his food. Lol
