Super great video and advice! I have 3 kids and some things that worked for us: 1. Calling the new baby "your baby" (similar to your language) So cute now my 4 year old has 2 babies :) 2. Leaving the bassinet out for a few weeks in advance. My toddler would throw his trucks in so that gave us time to teach not to do that. 3. The last few weeks of pregnancy where you're a lot more sedentary, teach your toddler then how you're going to be taking care of your new baby. Take a stuffed animal and play games like "the baby is crying. why?" and go through all the different scenarios and show them how you fix the issue. My kids loved this game. (And try to teach them to play next you while you're sitting) 4. 100% include them in taking care of the baby without pressure. My kids love getting the diaper for me. 5. We always say goodnight to the baby who goes down first and everyone gives baby a hug and a kiss. 6. When you're out for a walk, teach your toddler to hold the stroller so you can easily watch them together. 7. Ask your toddler to check on the baby and report back to you. "Is baby ok? "Why did they make that noise" "Why are they crying" It's super helpful later when they're a bit older and you're trying to make supper. Obviously you double check, or watch discreetly, but it gives them a sense of confidence. Hope this helps someone!

I have been watching you for almost a decade and I have to say this is my favourite video of yours! Thank you for your honesty and transparency, I have loved watching your channel transform from high fashion to mum life. Most of your audience (myself included!) have grown out of the Gossip Girl/high fashion to go to the supermarket and grown into working mums who want a more realistic view of life when they click online. You’ve done a phenomenal job and I’m so excited to see these new chapters of your life. You’re an amazing woman xx

Im prioitising this year for myself. Plan on baby number 2 next year. My daughter is 1 year 6months. Im scared to get pregnant again though as i struggled so bad with hg... The labour and delivery was super easy and could do that again but being pregnant definitely a big no lol 😅

Baby #2 is coming in November and this was SUPER helpful. I love the concept of telling grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc to address the older child first and ask her if she can meet the new baby. My oldest will be 4 right before her sister comes so she probably understands and comprehends this a little more than Kennedy did, but these tips are still really useful!

When we had 2nd baby six months ago, our firstborn was only 1 year 6 months old. She was at my parents place when we were in hospital for six days. My mom had bought her a baby doll, her first one, and told her several times that this is your new baby and mom will also have a new baby. When we came home, I let her show me her baby first and met her alone. After that I told her that I also have a new baby, and she was very exited since she new his name already and had seen several pictures from my mothers phone. We met the baby together while their dad was holding him. Everytime I was feeding, carrying or changing the baby, she was doing the same with her own. After few weeks she came to help me with "my baby" and then she kind of forgot it all and her little brother was a normal part of our family. I think the doll was a very good idea with our daughter.
