BUT FIRST we remove some paint from the top of the stove. I actually didn't anticipate how much work that would be, so I'll do the rest later, haha.
The music used in the stove section is an instrumental track from the upcoming album for my synthwave project "Citizen."
Also, I don't really think that doing it this way would save any kind of time for porkchops and rice. I guess maybe you'd have one less pan to wash.

When I saw people making fun of this recipe it on Jack's channel I saw a lot of people saying he was making the rice-a-roni wrong under the impression that rice-a-roni is rice, but it's actually vermicelli pasta and Jack cooked it according to box instructions. The rest of the meal I can't vouch for but I'm convinced some people hate on Jack's cooking before they even see the videos due to his track record

@@beepbeeplettuce5890 maybe this is a hot take, but I actually have a weird kind of admiration for Jack. Yeah, he cant cook, but he clearly enjoys what he's doing and he's a lot braver than me to put it out there for the ravenous wolves of the internet. Would I ever watch his videos directly? not a chance. Do I enjoy the videos that rip on him? Absolutely. But even with one functioning arm he's still doing what he's passionate - albeit misinformed and objectively terribly - about. Unless theres info out there im not privy to, like hes a super racist or something.

The thing I love about so many of Jack's Lazy man recipes is that it actually makes things *more* complicated and less tasty than a legitimate lazy way of making the food. As you said If you had just thrown some salt, pepper, garlic and onion and fried the pork chops up, it would not be anything amazing but it would be better tasting and lazier than adding the ricearoni. I love his lazy mans omelette video in particular because he takes one of the legitimately easiest foods to make (you throw stuff in eggs, maybe add a dash of milk or cream, toss it in a pan, let it cook and then flip it) into this super complicated and potentially dangerous affair where he is filling ziplock bags with it, labelling each bag with a sharpie, boiling them in the bags, "burping" the bags of steam, and then individually cutting all these awful omelettes out. Also I just remembered, i'm surprised you didnt mention how in this particular video Jack calls the food network to try and pitch his show, the lady on the line gives him a pre recorded message basically saying "we don't accept show ideas unless you are an actual network", Jack goes "Wow guys look theres hope im gonna get on the food network!" then proceeds to boil an unseasoned porkchop in a box of Rice A Roni. It really shows the essence of Jack's character thinking he is this master chef when in reality he has lower than average cooking skills.

Looks like a good way to make something basic when you're done with life! I might try this, but put the Pork in first to get it seared on both sides. Then add the dry ricearoni, then the liquid and seasoning, and maybe throw some frozen peas and corn in for the last 3 minutes :) Really enjoyed also having the section of fixing up the oven, it felt really wholesome, like "first we fix things up, then we have some food!"

short and sweet video, I like that you never flamed Jack, he does his best I think. One thing to remember about those boxed products is that they are made to appeal to the largest percentage of consumers, it's just right for the median but most of us are on one side or another so we can personalize it to our own tastes. I use them as a base and add from there. The main problem I saw with this dish though was that the pork chops were basically steamed, there was no chance for that nice Maillard reaction that really brings out the flavor of most meats.

People gotta hate on the weirdest things huh lol, if only these same people saw mine with oil and paint stains and spots where I decided to paint it block colours on the legs and the scratches and stuff, tbh sometimes it looks way worse when it's cleaned properly than when it's just wiped down The stove looks really good too, must've taken some elbow grease but I'm with the commenter who said we gotta get you views enough to replace it - if that's what you want, personally I kind of dig the aesthetic such character brings I'm stoked these videos are a decent catalyst for your music too, the more i lookm around this channel the more i learn and like
