I guess they know if you’re being truthful or not. It almost felt like a scam, but within a few minutes I was approved.... I hope that answered your question.

Very frustrating to hear something like it would be better to wait til I've made 3 payments because most of the interests is added to the first 2 payments! What the blankety blank is that!!Lol! Fortunately I watched this video before closing a personal loan. I went to Lightstream to check out what they offered. I ended up getting a significantly cheaper personal loan than at my bank. Can't thank you enough. It was very fast. It literally took less than 20 minutes to get approved.

Got a loan from prosper for $5k, they gave me 4500 (I didn’t read the fine print) , had to come up with additional 500. 2 months later from credit karma it suggested chase unlimited card. Applied and was approved for $6k. I went to pay off Prosper using my new CC of 0% /15 months to find out they don’t offer payoffs by credit card and chase unlimited does not give checks . Now I’m stuck paying this loan at 16%

Great info, so far... Im still here! Ive been having such difficulty getting a Personal Loan even though my credit was over 680 (now its 650) My credit is low ONLY because of my Debt to Credit ratio. Ive never made a late payment in over 25 years. I need this loan for Debt/CC Consolidation. Im self employed but its a cash business so tax returns do not tell the whole story/not even close... I just need the loan for maybe a 24 months MAX. In my line of work, get paid once every 2-3 months in a lump sum so repaying the loan is not an issue whatsoever. Research into balance transfer credit cards that offer 0% interest rates for the first 15-20 months making it easier to pay off. Capital one quicksilver one is one of the best imo because they'll send you a convenience check directly to you depending on the amount you owe. Also discover, Citi bank, and amex have good balance transfer cards. At most you'll likely on be charged 3-5% for the transfer but its a better deal than getting the personal loan.

I agree. In most cases its better to do a balance transfer credit card with 0% interest to pay off debt preferably from a company that has nconvenience check options. Depending on how much you qualify for you can just tell them how much you need and even get an extra amount if you want.
