I've fired a few handguns in my life, mainly Glocks, and was looking to buy my first concealed carry gun. I saw a lot of reviews from this channel and others and decided to pick up a Canik TP9 Elite SC. Got it two days ago and got to fire it at the range today. It blew every Glock I've ever shot out of the water. The trigger was the best trigger I've ever pulled, especially right out the box, it shot flat and on target about 80% of the time (I'm a terrible shot with pistols lol), and it had zero failure to ejects or feed with the standard 12 round mag after firing about 250-300 rounds through it. 100% happy I chose Canik and would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to buy their first gun but not wanting to spend too much.

Get any self-defense insurance that you can afford, in the sort of state that requires a permit to purchase even if you are in the right you will probably be prosecuted. I personally use Right to Bear but US Law Shield and Attorneys on Retainer are also really good choices, USCCA can be a little dubious in the insurance department but the training resources they provide were invaluable to me when I was starting out so it balances out somewhat.

I feel you on the CZ P-10 series. I have plenty of "floofy" expensive guns as well as Glocks, Sigs, etc. My P-10 F is my nightstand gun, my P-10 S is (mostly) my EDC. They are just SO damn good. The "trigger bite" is real after a cpl hundred rounds + big hands, but HBI has a trigger shoe called 'Theta' that fixes this issue and doesn't change springs, etc. so I'm not worried about reliability. not the subcompact though. There's a good reason it was discontinued

All my 2024 Matches and Classes were run with either a 92 variant or a PX4. I believe the 92 is the better of the two overall but yeah, for EDC I lean towards the PX4.

I have the Canik TP9 SC with a burnt bronze slide... the trigger is as smooth as my Sig P226 Legion, and the 12 round mags with finger rests give the grip just enough length to fit my hand perfectly. Great value.

I'd be interested in seeing a video about the top 6 or 7 best red dot manufacturer's products, warranties, use, reliability, and just his personal preferences of each. Red dots seem to be the rage, and a vid from our boy would really be cool.

i love your videos. I live in Florida, so I am wearing shorts a lot and needed a ccw that would be comfortable wearing shorts. I ended up buying a ruger 380 security which I love to shoot but for ccw you cannot beat the smith and wesson bodyguard 2.0. I put it in a pocket holster which makes it easy to carry all day long. Keep you the great work.

October 19, 2024. Turkey has seen a wave of femicides in 2024. Women's rights groups say Erdogan's government is fostering a sense of impunity in an already very patriarchal society. F everything from turkey

I’m a smaller framed guy so the Beretta is a bit too big for me to carry concealed, but it makes an absolutely fantastic nightstand pistol; especially with a light mounted on the rail. Recently picked up a Canik TP9 Elite SC to start training with a red dot, but in the meantime my EDC is a SAR B6c; actually surprised that nothing from SAR made the list.

I'm glad you are continuing to sing the praises of the P-07, however, you know as well as I that the it has been replaced by the P-09 Nocturne, which faild miserably in your initial review. Many gun tubers have worked out the kinks, most of them referenceing your troubles with the gun being thet of an over long optics mounting screw interfering with the function of the extractor. I would really like to see you give the gun another review with a corrected screw. Thanks for your content and your consideration.

Knew the Canik would be at the top. I own a Mete SFT and Mete SFX Pro thanks to your recommendation. Both have a least a thousand rounds through them now with no malfunctions. Both shoot great and they are both fast and stupid accurate. The SFX Pro in particular shoots like rifle. 100 yards plus with this beast is absolutely no problem.

Awesome list! I picked up a Canik Rival-S after watching your Canik reviews and doing some research. I am in love with it. It really feels like a gun that could have cost double and everything it came with was just incredible. I love many of these guns on your list but my Canik just has a special place in my heart because I feel like I got so much of a bargain. The value is just incredible.

I shoot the PDP and APX back to back. The only difference is the trigger pull. PDP is definitely better in that area, but overall build and quality they are similar.
@AQUARIAN2086 күн бұрын
Had the APX A1 and sold that thing. Say what you will about steel case ammo, but that APX was the only gun I've ever shot that would not cycle a whole mag, hell I couldn't even get 5 in a row. Glock 19, XD, G2C and two different Cankis had no trouble with the ammo. Idk if I had a bad one, but in my opinion, if it can't shoot everything and anything, I ain't taking a chance on it with my life in the line.

@@AQUARIAN208 I’ve never shot steel through mine but it’s my most reliable gun and never had a malfunction after 4 years and thousands of rounds.
