Fly to Rzeszow, Poland....then you get a bus right from the airport direct to Lviv. When in Lviv there is a huge train station connecting all of Ukraine. Easy pal

When in an Eastern European city, I find a trip to a jazz club is one of the best options at night. They are usually in a basement cellar. I've been to jazz clubs in Krakow and Zagreb. Both cracking nights out. Zagreb is underrated for its pubs. Budapest and Bucharest of course have great bars and pubs.
