Hi Mrs Harry, I would like to know, on the video the oven bakes bagel at 230C, but the subtitle says to bake at 200C, why they are different? And I tried to bake at 210C, 12mins, the inside of the bread is ok, but the surface is white-butter color, not the beautiful brown color🥺(I have the same oven with you) which part did i do wrong😢

Dear Molly, 1. Let me double check, if I made a mistake I will amend. Thanks for letting me know. I would say 200C is a good level to start in first trial. 2. May I know the type of sugar in the dough? And sugar/honey in the boiling water? The sugary content also plays a role in the browning process. Besides, this oven has generally lower heat than other brand and model. Even you mark 210C, the oven might not generate the same degree of heat. You can try two things, use an oven thermometer and longer pre heat time. Hope you will have better product in your next trial. Afterall, celebrate your effort and enjoy the bagels with your love ones. ❤️

@@mrsharry.mrsharry First, thank's sooo much for replying me!!❤️ I use white sugar for the dough. I don't have honey so I take turns using maple syrup and white sugar for boiled water. Thanks for reminding me about the oven, no wonder I always confused about the temperature🤔 I"ll try to preheat it longer, or... maybe I can adjust the baking temperature to 230C?

White sugar should have no problem. Try to work on the oven temperature. Best wishes🤞🏻

Hi, on the actual timeline, they do wait for a few minutes while I had to put my warm water back to boiling point. I would suggest 5-10 min wait has no harm. Hope the information helps.

😅 Another lady asked the same question. Good observation! I made a few rounds. For better looking photo (learning to capture one), I placed 5 bagels at the shot. 🙏
