Welcome to episode 2 of Mama Bakery!
One of my favorite things to eat are bagels, specifically, Japanese bagels. I remember the first time I had it in Tokyo, I INSTANTLY FELL INLOVE and knew we had to recreate it at home! Japanese bagels are light, fluffy, and slightly sweet compared to normal bagels. Plus they are oil free, dairy free, and low on sugar!
Today, I will be sharing my moms fail proof recipe that can be turned into multiple different flavors. We will be making the original bagel, blueberry bagel with fresh blueberry cream cheese, cheesy jalapeno bagels stuffed with cream cheese, matcha bagels stuffed with red bean and mochi, roasted black sesame bagels stuffed with red bean and walnuts, and of course for the fall, pumpkin cream cheese bagels!
