@@sylvienishioti2894 tanukis aka raccoon dogs are apart of Japanese folklore (I think) and since Joel has his japan cyberpunk city, people just headcannon him as a tanuki! It’s just like how people headcannon gem as a fawn or grian as a parrot!

I'm still not entirely sure if covers are considered infringement, but I know parodies fall outside of that due to being transformative content. The holder of the rights to the original song would have to go out of their way to manually strike down a parody

oh thanks! I was trying to figure out that shot, it was the only one I didn't understand. At first I thought it was Joel having a pet chicken on a lead while another Tanuki (a fan of his) spotted him and was in awe.

ive watched this three times. i will continue to watch it over and over again i cant really pick a favorite part of the animation cause all of it is *so good*. joel using his magic for the mic, the trophy stand, etc. the portrayal of the bees running free in a beautiful meadow when we all know right after this song he starts imprisoning them in a cramped farm. your linework is also very good at portraying weight and texture - we can see how fluffy his tail is and hair, but clothes are drawn very light (sometimes stuff like that doesnt come across without the artist actually giving things curls, so its a skill worth a note) (its me im the artist im studying your line work as i speak) blah blah blah I'll leave my rambling there great work as always i cant wait to see the next one!!
