Honeycomb Aeronautical accessories are now available in Canada, USA and Europe. I test out the new GA (General Aviation) Trim Wheel mod, the Airbus throttle handle pack and the Dust cover which fits both the Alpha flight controls and Bravo Throttle Quad. I was surprised how much difference the GA trim wheel provides to the TQ.

Great Ideas, deff will go for the trim add on and also the dust covers ! Thanks Mark for the review and for brining it to our attention. I guess you could always put a cut up the back of the covers to allow it to fit with the cables attatched. 👍

Thank you for the video! GA trim wheel and Airbus levers arrived last month - I love the flap lever! Dustcover would be nice, but I use the Logitech radio panels and flight instrument displays on top of the Alpha/Bravo, so they won't fit...

I'd love Honeycomb to make an LED indicator panel to fit on the top of the Bravo above the autopilot controls to show its current values and settings. Basically like the Logitech Autopilot panel display without the knobs, switches and buttons. It would only need to be about 20mm high.

Got my trim wheel cover ( a 3D printed Mod from Chris H Designs) months ago on Etsey $20.00 CDN But I also just got the Honeycomb Aeronautical version-I prefer the neoprene version than the Chris H Design hard(er) plastic version

I really like that trim wheel cover but I already bought a plastic one which works fine. Also I'll just use a pillowcase for a cover over the bravo and alpha. But nonetheless great video

I have GA trim wheel + Airbus options too and love them also. Dust covers are too expensive and did not take them. I just put a towel on them after a flight :-)

Yep, I use cheese cloth for the throttle and my keyboard lol. It works.

I bought a customized, magnetic name plate for all the switches for the throttle quadrant on Ebay. I like it, though he stopped selling them anymore. Someone out there may have the same idea.

I 3D printed mine. The file is readily available for download. If you don't have a 3D printer, ask someone that has one to print it for you. A lot cheaper than the one in this video plus you have a choice of material.

Is it one dustcover per unit Mark? In other words do you have to buy one for the Bravo and one for the Alpha for a total of 2 items at approx. $30.00 CDN each? Hi Mark..noticed you the Thrustmaster rudder pedals...did you have any problems with calibration or setting them up...not sure if you have done a video on setting them up...& also did you download the Thrustmaster drivers before you connected the pedals...thx...

Does anybody know anywhere to buy the trim wheel in the UK aside from Aerosoft? The trim wheel itself is just under 17 Euros but it's another 12 euros for economy postage or 14 for express! 12 euros for second class postage for some rubberised plastic that will fit in an envelope straight through the letterbox!

@@get_outdoors I paid via Amazon Pay, the total cost was 30.79 Euro or £26.46. I think there would have been extra currency conversion fees had I paid via Paypal hence choosing Amazon Pay. The trim wheel is nice, and easy to fit, I'm happy with it overall.

Sadly, much like most of Honeycomb Aeronautical products, the GA Trim Wheel is always out of stock. They really do need to improve their product availabity and supply chain failures. It took me 5 months to source and buy the Yoke and Throttle 😕

I bought the trim wheel cover, but no increased friction. It still freewheels like a well oiled bicycle wheel. Waste of money. Thanks Mark! (not). Your review for this useless POS cost me around $68 AUS.

The friction, or lack thereof, on the Bravo trim is a known issue. However if your trim wheel actually ‘’freewheels like a well oiled bicycle’’ then perhaps the issue is with your Bravo. It should not be that loose.
