I gotta say - I LOVE that you often MacGyver modifiers and accessories to fit your needs.

Great video, as always! Short, compact, and filled with only the necessary information-no fluff. This is my favorite grid setup. I also use grids on softboxes. If I missed your idea out it I’d love to hear your thoughts about using grids. I recently subscribed to your channel and truly admire the quality of your content. It would be amazing to collaborate on a project someday. If you're ever in the Bay Area, San Francisco, I’d be happy to bring my gear along. I have three AD200s, two V1s, reflectors, softboxes, and umbrellas. Even just meeting you would be a pleasure. Best regards!

For the Godox grid that comes with the AD100, using the grid and snoot *together* creates a very tight light. I use it all the time.

Those honeycombs remind me of metal pop filters for microphones. I had no clue that also works for lights. Thank you for the info.

I'm going to have to watch all your vids! I've started doing green screen videos some 5 years ago but, I've moved and conditions have changed. Don't know if it's the light but, I have some "holes" (or some type of flicker) when I wear black and remove green. Use Davinci Resolve. Any ways - this is great info on your channel - you really are professional - thumbs up!

Thank you so much for making this video! This is so helpful!!! 've been searching for a long time for a video that explains honeycombs. I want to use one for a specific project I’m working on, but I didn’t know which one to choose for the spotlight I want to achieve.

@MarkusPix Thank you very much for the reply on your last video about the Sony A7s MKII. It was really helpful. The links showed how good the camera is in low light. I'm now looking out for a good used version.

7sii is a great camera. I tried one out and I'm now looking for a used one as a 2nd/lowlight camera. I don't even shoot video either lol.

@@nicedward7544 They must be good as used models still have a good price. Only thing I have found is a lot of them are really beat up and the rear screen seems to fog over

I was earlier curious of MagMod soft-boxes but now looking towards other “snap” style softboxes. But… I hope you get a chance for an honest ….test of “MagMod XL” Reflector with different grids (partly collapsible). They have 20˚ and 40˚ grids but sorry to say no 10˚.
