Magnificent! I'm a seamstress who likes the inside of my garments to look as nice as the outside so I really appreciate your meticulous attention to detail. You're my favorite furniture flipper for that very reason. It's rather like "old world" craftsmanship, so rare these days. Your ability to take cast offs and turn them into stunning one of a kind pieces is truly a gift of vision brought into being by hard work. Keep up the good work.

Honestly the amount of care you put into these restorations is amazing. A lot of furniture flippers really focus on getting the bare minimum done to sell which means incomplete backs and insides. I understand what they’re doing, tryin to get the max profit from the minimum amount of work but man the satisfaction of seeing a full completes piece is just something else.

Very nice! I love going from trash to treasure! I started fixing up furniture out of necessity when I first moved out on my own way back in the 70s when it wasn’t “ cool” . My mom helped me re-do an old chrome legged table by using a lace tablecloth and spraying over it as a stencil. Then I got into refinishing wood. Very rewarding..

W O W!! I mean WOW, what a gorgeous piece and amazing transformation!! No one would ever believe that’s the same piece. Such terrific talent. I was so excited to see you use Shou Sugi Ban! My husband loves this technique for sealing his woodworking pieces and has always used a blow torch. But on his larger pieces (he built a huge industrial style desk for or son-in-law and a wall desk for our son) it was a bit harder and very time consuming. So I got him a flamethrower gun for Christmas! He’s building a barn doors for our older son and can’t wait yo use it lol! Thx for the video (speaking of videos, have you seen Crys’Dawna’s newest one? She did neon colors and it was so cool! I just adore her and she’s back to her magenta hair!💖)! Just love watching you work!😁

Such painstaking work, for a worthwhile result! I particularly like that you clean up the insides and backs of your pieces. It bothers me to see pretty exteriors and grungy interiors etc. when that extra effort is so transforming. A touch of perfectionism is a good trait when renovating, I think. 😊👍 If a thing is worth doing, it's worth doing well, I was taught, and I appreciate seeing that followed when you take on a task. Wow, from such an uninspiring beginning to an utterly inspirational outcome, at what point does renovation transform into art. You have created something beautiful!! I sympathise with you having to work outdoors, I also have very limited space and have to set up in my garden, it's far from ideal given the unpredictable UK weather (though we did get a good run this year). Spraying the water based stain is a great idea that hadn't occurred to me, I'll definitely use that. A possible suggestion re the final sprayed finish, though the finish already looks great.. I recently renovated some pine bedroom furniture that was starting to look tired and I used 'Pink Stuff' to cut through the surface grime. I knew it was a very fine abrasive so I went gently, and I was pleasantly surprised that it also smoothed out the factory lacquer finish to a very flat satin finish. I then tried applying Gilboys wax (very expensive but utterly worth the price!) following their approved method of applying with 0000 steel wool, this resulted in a really beautiful deep wax shine finish. I'd GUESS that pink stuff followed by a quality furniture wax would give the same result with the finish that you've applied in this video, but obviously test carefully on a scrap piece first. Could be a handy tip for you, especially as you can apply it retrospectively if a customer asks if you can change the surface finish on a completed item. Pink stuff is also great for cleaning furniture hardware etc. so worth giving it a try at just £1.50 a pot, I think you'll find it in larger Tesco's or Sainsbury's.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I noticed that you were using several different types of glue during this makeover. Of course, you used wood glue for the majority of the tile pieces but what glue did you use when you glued the smaller pieces on the side? The use of the dye was brillant- I am not familiar with it's use so I appreciated that new tip. You paid such attention to detail! Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

Thank you! 😊 I think it was all wood glue ( different brands) but I do use super glue sometimes with accelerator.

When creative people like you tell us to let you know what kind of project we would like to see you do, it amazes me. I prefer to see you just do what you do and take it all in. Your patience and artistry are beyond belief. Thank you so much for sharing what you do.

Everything you pick up to repurpose is always a very creative perfect job. Your work is at master level. I hope that the interior designers in your area know about you. If you were here in the USA, I would do business with you in a second. Carol from California, USA

Every video I watched I'm always astonished at what magic you can do. We know that you love to do furnture and have two fur babies, what else can you share about yourself? You're obviuosly a "beautiful people" yourself, 🙂

Seems like such a waste....it was still a fine bedside table. I think a bit of isopropyl alcohol, a layer of primer on the door and a few harsh and slightly threatening words about why we only draw on PAPER, and it would've been good as new.... Thank you for rescuing it!

Beautiful piece. I like you using black grout...it made things pop. I thinking if you used black hardware it would have popped even more. Its beautiful what you did to revive this piece!!!

So nice! So far I've just picked up a few roadside discards and one giveaway for practice. None quite as nasty as the ones you've shown. But I'm happy to be learning from you.

Exquisite work! I appreciate that you don’t edit your changes as they encourage your audience to re-do, change plans, or re-think the purpose of the piece that is being worked on. Thanks again for what you bring to the woodworking community.

The stripping process on the cabinet's wood trim was harsh & did not complement the honeycomb! If the wood did not have salvageable grain, then veneer would have made a more beautiful result. The honeycombing was genius! The borders - more shabby than restored!

The result is so beautiful! I’ve heard you say how you started flipping furniture during the pandemic, but you must have known how to do this before??? A video about how you learned to do the various skills would be interesting demonstrates on pieces we can all relate to. Thank you!

Many years ago I refinished my grandmother's Elgin treddle sewing machine. It was not a professional job whatsoever but it looks much better. I'd like to see one done to your satisfaction.
