When I was a kid I watched the Jetsons, they had a robot and a flying car. I alway wondered if we would have that when I grew up. Now we have drones and robots for surgery. Pretty Cool. Makes me wonder have far we will have advanced in 40 or 50 years. Harvest Host sounds pretty awesome.

You guys are doing super great with your new build. You'll figure out all the things you need to do to make your power last. It's hard to survive off grid. I always need power and water. I dont require a ton but, without a way to keep warm or cool I'm screwed out in Mohave desert. The temp extremes are huge.!❤❤❤😎my July covid caught up to me and I'm now on oxygen. I pray its temp. I'm starting a new diet and exercise routine. I think I gain too much weight and got too weak. Time will tell. Much love!🏳️‍🌈🙏

You have so much room on the counter that you could build to the left of the sink in the bathroom, a shelf unit or cabinet that went from the counter all the way to the top to give you plenty of storage.

I’m afraid that ur old RV fridge will not work well off grid. The little compressor fridge only draws 1-3 amps. Your big fridge will work well when ur work-camping. Lithium IS the way to go! Great decision. I don’t know how many amps ur big fridge draws but I’ve heard they not efficient. I taught Physics & chemistry 30 years so I’m trying to help rather than be a Debbie Downer. While you're in Florida, check out the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement, and tell Steve Turtle that I said hi. He hires workampers, but it's volunteer work in the settlement. Amber, I'm making my smoothies with strawberries, blueberries, banana, vanilla (lite) yogurt, and almond milk. I just bought some frozen avocado chunks, and I'm gonna try adding some of that.

As always a great video. I have always loved history as a kid. I now wish that I could travel. I don't drive and can't afford to travel. Plus I have 5 rescue animals. This summer I am going to sell my place and start over some where new. I am almost 65 and I have been here 35 years. Time for new adventures

The propane bottles are in a compartment sealed from the interior and vented to the outside so running the fridge at night on propane is safe. Also make sure your propane leak detector is working. DC for driving as you don't want to pull into a gas station with the pilot light on. Most times with a lithium ion battery it may not charge properly from the vehicle with the normal connection that is stock with the camper. If you are having issues with the battery charging properly from the vehicle you will need to install a dc to dc charger that regulates the charging from you vehicle to the camper battery. Most dc to dc chargers have a setting for charging lithium ion batteries.

I lived off grid for three years. Propane is an excellent way to run your fridge. I never had an issue with it. A five gallon tank lasted a month running stove and fridge.
