So, it turns out that no-nut-november actually does make people a bit crazy. A lack of sexual release reduces testosterone levels, and lower sex hormone levels makes people more emotional and volatile... so forbidding masturbation is a fairly effective way to make guys aggressive or even violent. One other thing I learned in making this this episode is how difficult it was to come up with an example of honeypotting by a person of color. I realize that there are fewer examples of poc in media but is it possible that there are even fewer in honeypotting roles? Or am I just uncomfortable marking them as honeypotting because it might suggest that their value as actors is only for their looks? Gagh, introspection is essential! Staying curious.

To answer the point about valuing in actor for me can be put the as like yeah i may appreciate how attractive this person is, but that doesnt mean they dont appreciate what they do in their field. Things like honeypotting could lead to actual genuine interest in something you know? I feel like an assumption is that it's inherently bad, but it could be used to bring awareness to something. As for the poc part, none really come to mind but i thought of like beyonce using her looks to attract fans (nothing wrong with that), but then people get genuinely interested in her music and her movements that she supports.

Honeypot as a term is a lot older than 2014. It was at least used by Ian Fleming in his books. Honey has been found in the pyramids still edible. It has been used as a balm for wounds since time immamorial. Not only as a cure but also antiseptic. Bees were kept by monks not for the honey but the wax used in candles for religious reasons. Honey made into mead was a bonus. As for the sexual aspect feel free to use your initiative! Honey is nothing but good fun and completely safe. Happy hunting!!

As having kept bees you should understand that a lot of the honey that you get at stores has been cut with corn syrup so I wouldn't really use that as medicinal in any case I strongly suggest that you find your local beekeeper or keep honey bees for yourself if you want real honey. Was it an aphrodisiac or ? But certainly used to encourage pregnancy. In my profession of Veterinary Medicine, when I graduated in the seventies there were still wound dressings ointment mixtures of Sulfa/Antibiotic drugs and honey used to promote healing of large wounds. Two important points:1. Manuka Honey is not all that great. Its often adulterated. Red Stringybark honey is often more beneficial, if you can get it 2. treat bee stings by removing the sting, and applying honey. Try to buy honey directly from reliable beekeepers.

My son is the Certified Pool Operator at the City's Olympic pool. He has some unusual rescue equipment in his office. One afternoon the Lifeguard brought over a very distressed crying 20 something girl and her friends. It seems that she sat on a bee and it stung her right next to her vee gee. He said her swimsuit bottom barely had enough material to make a leash for a squirrel. Well, my son went into action and got the insect stinger removal kit. He said he could barely contain himself with her legs spread wide and him with the magnifying glass and the specialized extractor pulling out the still pulsating stinger on such a good looking stranger. He had to dab the swollen area with the relief gel and she felt immediate relief. He rather enjoyed playing doctor that day.

Sorry not to have a honey/sex story, I just have one about honeys medicinal properties. My mother had a REALLY bad infection on her lower leg. I had to take her twice to get in "debriefed" to let it heal. That means the infected tissue had to be cut away. Normal antibiotics failed and I was honestly worried about it. We went to another hospital where they applied some "medical honey". They filled the open would with a paste of this medical honey and rapped it up. We came back a weak later and it was almost healed. IT WAS AMAZING!
