The last concert with my dad, Joseph Maag. He passed away a month later.

419 hits in 6 months? Ridiculous... The musicians (or so-called) of the world would do well to listen and watch (and ABSORB) more videos like this: This displays three guys with a level of musicianship, listening ability, wit and sensibility far too rarely seen on stage these days.. No egos, no fake books, no ear-splitting volume..no "hey lookie what I can do!".. Just 3 musicians creating art: Art of the highest order. THIS IS JAZZ.

Jonathan Stout and James Chirillo I personally think, are the greatest jazz guitarists alive right now.

After seeing his videos on freddie green comping I kinda assumed thats all he did, chug quarter after quarter after quarter. If there was every a performance to prove me wrong this is it. Man is versatile as hell, and knows how to swing hard.

what's that at 4:58? (big fan of James Chirillo's playing, but is this a quote or what?)
@markfreemantle76085 жыл бұрын
I don't understand the question. Can you re-phrase?
@paulgibby69322 жыл бұрын
@@markfreemantle7608 ok. If you go to 4:58 and listen, I wanted to know if James was quoting a tune fragment, and if so, what it was.
