Thank you , thank you Nancy , I've been a fan from the 70's . I was a hardcore drug addict at 15 yrs old , Jesus saved and forgave all my sins . All I had ever heard church hymns when I heard this song I was cracking up , smiling like crazy and dancing around my bedroom . Praise God it was great . Here I am at age 56 still clean and loving Jesus .

My first Christian album was by Nancy Honeytree. The reason I'm happy is because I've got Jesus inside. That about sums it up for me.

@sirdady3 i was told many times that i looked like her when i was young. one time i went to see the group fireworks sing and the lead singer told me afterwards that he thought nancy honeytree was in the audience lol! love her music! her first two albums were very instrumental in my new walk in the Lord way back in 1976. i would love if you would pass that along to her!

Jennifer Pruitt, did you realize this is actually Honeytree's testimony song---she wrote it? The thing that comes across so strongly, if you get a chance to see Honeytree in concert, is her authenticity. Her performance isn't a performance.

Hey! Is there a way to get in touch with Nancy Honeytree? I sang her lullaby "Day Is Done" to all my four children who are ages 30, 29, 25, and 20...and am singing it to my grandchildren....I have been looking for a way to purchase her music for a long time. She is so pure and given to the Lord!

@MaryPeanutButterBush Your threats and ugly comments only show the bitterness in your heart. I will pray for you. Jesus is real but He is not the cause of all the evil in this world. That has come because of sin and rebellion. Do I have the answers?...only God does. I lost 2 of my family to death recently and my heart aches as I wish I understood the whys...but as I walk in this dark land, all I can do is trust in God's unfailing love...there is no other hope. God bless you!

no disrepect to nancy honeytree, but david meece's version from front row (1982) was better. this didn't suit her at all. in david's version, he made it his own and it was funny! the part with him and the principal made me lol. "but sir, they don't need any help" when accused of messing with the cafeteria food. classic! find and listen to it. could someone please up load that one here?

Nancy Honeytree has that rear commodity that Christian's in general don't have a sense of humor
