Is it safe to travel to Hong Kong during protest? It's advisable to skip your tours as of the moment but if you're pushing through with your plans. Here's a sneak peak of the situation we had last November. We stayed in Nathan Road, exactly where the protests happened so we had a first hand experience of the rallies and inconvenience (not complaining though).
