No, the Amber Eras signifies the time when Preservation swings and smacks down his hammer, like a gong marking 12 PM or AM. There's no fixed amount of time between these spans of hammerfall, so you can at best go off the shortest known Amber Era we have info on.

I know the quest is fairly short (especially compared to 2.2) but I think it wrapped a lot of storylines for the Penacony arcs pretty well. I think it also gave a fairly nice conclusion to the whole “IPC taking over Penacony” arc they teased would happen (not as ideal as the “everyone gets along” shown in the trailblazer dream ending but still as good as we could expect from the IPC.

I also like Firefly was one of the stars in this arc and they did have an arc separate from the trailblazer till the ending (which definitely seemed like a date to me but I ship them of together so I am biased). Robin small part was also memorably as it’s clear she is still not okay with Sunday being imprisoned but puts on a brave face for the sake of her fans 3:09:42 plus it seems she already made that deal with Jade to get Sunday out of Penacony so it’s possible she knows he will be okay even if it’s my with her anymore.

I think the talk about Himeko being the "sweet dew" was done during the belabog arc when Himeko helped in the Topaz story, Jade did say Topaz task in Belabog had granted them a favor from the Astral Express Also imagine aside from the train they got a ship now. Acheron have this "red text" option since 2.0, like in 2.0 you can reject her request to joining with your party in Reverie Hotel (Dream), if you rejected 3 times she straight up forced you to do it by making it only one red choice. (or even when the conversation is related to Acheron, for example when Welt asked TB's opinion about Acheron) Hoyo's being serious with the "red fleeting" in Raiden B. Mei (especially different dialogue we get in 2.0 based on 1st red question she gave)

Tbf, there was apparently a few planets that never really had many connections outside, and given how the Memoria feels almost sort of S.O.Q. (no, I am not saying Memoria is the Sea of Quanta) and can really only be seen by the Garden makes me feel like it is a "Bubble World" that is leaking into the Star Rail World (capital W to differentiate because Hoyoverse's Cosmological terms are very odd) in some way? Jade was saying FIREFLY was in the Path of Finality, and wondering if that applied to everyone else in her team (or thematically at least Elio, as the leader and the one that seems to most fit the description beyond Firefly by trying to go against Destiny). Not a fan of how each of the story patches end. i get that they want to end on cliffhangers, but it makes the transition points rather abrupt. For an example, the last patch ended with the Sunday boss fight, but this patch basically starts up with you immediately waking up from that exact same boss fight. It literally makes our capacity to go side questing borderline non-sensical in the context of the story, which is especially egregious when it comes to stuff like that one side quest Robin sends you on in the Theatre. I'm also concerned about how these cliffhanger breaks affect the story, if the story was experienced all at once by newcomers. Stories DO need to slow down at times, because if everything was always on the move, and there was always something happening, it can very easily wear people out and drive them off the story as a result. Those who play from patch to patch would be fine, since the breaks between patches serve as breaks in the story, but things could be on the go constantly for those taking more of the story in at once.

To be honest, I never really like how Hoyo expects you to love certain characters because the main character's written to be (who's supposed to be an extention of the player's choices to a certain degree), especially when the scenes have some kind of romantic atmosphere in it even if it's technically not a romance (even gameplay pushes the MC and Firefly together). It's great for those that hold affection for the character, but not to those that don't really feel attached or prefer other characters. You're only limited to mean options towards Sampo, but when it comes to other manipulative characters such as Ruan Mei, the quests are written as if it's expecting for you to like them. I heard Genshin has a similar issue too?

This style of writing probably became notable earlier, but I'll always associate it with Robin from Fire Emblem: Awakening, where you can outright customize the look, classes, and relationships of the character, but yet the writers make the character wholly theirs to control. I would say that there's enough unique about the Trailblazer we can't control, while enough choices and enforcement of our control, that they want their cake and to eat it too: you are meant to be the Trailblazer, and the Trailblazer is meant to be their own entity. I hate to say this, but yuba is right: safest way around this critique is to not buy into the Trailblazer being you, since its the half you can control. Your criticism is valid, but they're definitely not going to sway from the Trailblazer being both either, and it would be a massive rewrite of the story if they did in either direction.

I just said the tone and atmosphere paint it like a romance (I doubt HSR is going to make any actual romance since that's not the focus, and no, not saying that they should). They also got Ruan Mei wrong because the effect it inflicts is making the consumer unable to speak any truths regarding her. The other one is half-half because other points weren't addressed. Sure, Trailblazer isn't meant to be the player's Avatar, but so many of their choices felt as if they partially are with so much contrasting options despite acting indepentendly in other times. I've read others argued that it's all part of the "script" for TB, but that feels like a handwave for every writing decision regardless. I've also heard others who say that "you can't please everybody". That's true, but that can be applied to pretty much every critique. Kinda rant-y, but I'm tired.

I'm still quite unhappy with the way they decided to wrap up some storylines. Sealing the Stellaron off-screen when it's always the most important part, Aventurine getting this big part in 2.1 to be saved offscreen by Argenti when we don't even know how he got there and got Aventurine out, it's never explained either. Idk, some things leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

I hate that the crew is acting like the IPC isn't straight up evil (like how TB acted with ruan mei) The family might not be as perfect as they are supposed to be (because they follow the harmony) but i take the most evil family leader over the most virtuous IPC leader And jade is just a snake in sheep's clothing (just like ruan mei) At least anti matter legion doesn't claim to be the good guys while doing the most shady sh*t in the background

@@kian-ganji I thought that's exactly why Welt said that they don't want either the IPC or The Family having full control over Penacony. IPC because they know how bad the IPC can be, and the Family because if they get their way fully the legacy of their Nameless predecessors would get squashed again and Penacony would basically go back to being a prison. So their solution was to force the two to cooperate in such a way that neither was free to do whatever evil they would have otherwise.

I had the broken screen too, but finished the event. So technically it should be fixed... so either it's a mistake on Hoyo's part, a deliberate choice (regardless if you did the event or not) to showcase Aventurine's journey , or the theory that we're still in a dream is floating around. We don't know the reason for sure.

If it was any other place I would actually be kinda icked by this but since it is penacony why does it matter lol? it could be just Aventurine imagination or anything

@@mikurero1762 Aventurine's personal viewpoint/dreams/etc. would not influence a structure controlled by the Dreamweavers tho? An individual's desires don't have that much power within the dreamscape. In their own dreams, sure - but not in the dreamscape constructed by the family. There's a ton of other reasons people are figuring it's a mistake (Fate's Atlas has that quest directly before it - which means in the canon timeline, it happens before this mission, so much like Topaz's quest where she's in the museum *should* bear the changes whether you completed the quest or not) or a hint that we're still trapped in the dream (other reasons include: many characters acting out of character, showing up in places they shouldn't be, several inconsistencies in explanations for things, that entire questline after the main mission where we... run the hotel? and just handing over the airship to us? and we're the captain for some reason??? Weird stuff.)
