@ this is correct! I can vouch for it. GGZ’s story itself is decanonized but the existence of outer gods is not, there’s even a reference to one in genshin impact’s upcoming version. Essentially, the mechanics for how the trees work is still canon, but the game’s main story is dubiously canon.

I just got into HSR thanks to CyYu and the other VAs for the High Cloud Quintet with their shenanigans, and so I've committed to getting all of the HCQ because I love them so much! I got Dan Heng IL on this latest rerun, and I'm so happy Jing Yuan is up so I can grab him! I just need Blade and Jingliu to get reruns, and I'll be grabbing Bailu off of the standard banner/selector ticket. But with Sunday being a buffer for summons, I may need to snag him too so I can really let the General shine. Keep up the good work, CyYu! Love your energy and how well you do your roles!
