Kindly guide me which linga can we worship at home? I had a small spatika linga which eventually had got small crack and had to be immersed into water. My query is if there is any options in linga and also about the size I can see the Shivlinga you have at your pooja place is bigger, many people advice against keeping bigger linga at home. It's so confusing please guide.

Maam, there is nothing wrong in keeping big size idols. We need to follow certain rules for worshipping like abhishekam, daily naivedyam etc. I suggest you to get good quality of spatika lingu. This is the most powerful lingu.

Firstly,I would like to mention that the Shiva Lingam is the symbol of nirakara and nirguna Shiva,i.e. the formless Shiva.In case of vigrahams, if there is a crack or something,the idol cannot be worshipped,unless it is repaired.If not,then visarjana. But in case of Shiva Lingam,if the lingam is broken,distorted,anything,then also it can be worshipped,because it's nirakara brahma(Consciousness/God).
