I think it depends on how the creator decide to open up. There are some who just say "yeah i have a bf/gf", just to basically mean "sorry, i'm taken". The couples that works are usually the ones who open up more on it. Sharing story about it, or even just with the soulmates sometimes appearing. I don't think they truly are mad because they have a gf/bf. I think it's more of a "i'm sure i am better than his/her soullmate"/ "she deserve better".

I met my wife in Tokyo. I am american, she is german. We had been talking for 3 or 4 months before meeting IRL, and I was stationed in northern Japan with the Military. She flew in to Japan, and I went down to Tokyo to meet her. We got married 5 years after the initial meeting. So I basically know exactly what you are talking about. We DID skype though, so it wasn't like I had never seen her before, but its totally different when its with your own eyes, and not through a camera lens.

This entire video is very cute and heartwarming! Reminds me of the early days when me and my now wife met. Many years ago, we met on an online game, texted each other for about 6 months, and then met. Hearing your stories reminded me of how awkward it really is to finally meet someone who you've been talking to for so long. "Will their personality be the same as it is online?" I love these stories because this is similar experience to how I dated and met my wife a few years ago. We met online through an MMORPG, dated for a few years and eventually did face time. We lived in different parts of the US but I got to go visit her and her family a handful of times. First time we met in person was at a meet up for lunch at a café that did charities for rescuing dogs finding new homes and such. We had our intimate moments in a hotel, though she was the one who was heat exhausted because she was not used to the hottest week of summer in Dallas, and it sucked. We didn't do anything like drinks and hot tubs though. We were often times told by strangers we were absolutely adorable together, and I have reason to say you two are adorable as well. We've been married for 4 years now, and she's the best ❤️ I hope you two have many more adventures in the years to come and more stories together!
