As a long time Samsung user who upgrades phones annually and that thanks to your channel and your shop (received my V3 the day after you and the Pen shortly thereafter, thanks and will def. order again from you!) switched from the Z Fold 5 to the V3, the software difference is too small to give any points to Samsung for it. V3 does everything I actually use just as good. Had to install the gboard keyboard and then all was perfect! Interested to see how the Vivo compares, but the thinness is key for me, feels like I am back at an S22 Ultra but with a foldable screen and build quality even feels better! Btw the V3 kickstand case that comes for free with it is of so much higher quality than the weak plastic one Samsung lets you buy extra but it can't even hold the weight of the Z Fold...

@Ruban-n9t Yeah true, how about a comparison of the Chinese version of V3 and Xfold 3 pro? Also, we was told the Origin OS experience is far better than Funtouch. The only difference between the global and Chinese rom is the lack of android auto, connectivity issues with wear OS. So how Chinese rom bad? I am confused because I am about to order Xfold 3 pro Chinese Version 16gb/1TB. Please, I need honest advice. Thanks

My Vivo X Fold 3 Pro with a Chinese ROM has a lot of functionality that almost no global version has, including the same Vivo phone with a global ROM and a Samsung Global ROM device, out of the box. The Good Lock app that you can download from Samsung bring Samsung up quite a bit, but you have to know too download it, it isn't natively out of the box on the phone. So it all bills down to what you're accustomed to verses what you're willing to learn as a Chinese ROM you do have to learn more than you do on a global ROM. To steal one of Alton Brown's great quotes, "You patience will be rewarded" with a Chinese ROM like the one find on my Vivo X Fold 3 Pro

Had yesterday the vivo x fold 3 in my hands and compared it to the fold 6 and the Oppo Find N3. Vivo was in my eyes clear the best, but the outer screen still to narrow for my taste when I hold my S23Ultra next to it. Folded it is not satisfied for me to switch. Did not have the Mix Fold or the Honor in my hands. Are they wifer then the X Fold 3 pro?

@Ruban-n9t thanks for the in depth reply I haven't bought any Chinese phones, I like my Samsung software but I wish they give a larger battery and include the IR blaster back on their flagships devices also a 2nd space like xiaomi phones. Really wanted a fold 6 (my first foldable) but the price is ridiculous for the poor hardware. Too much for the average person.

It would be great if you did a battle on the parts that are worth their own category. You have a niche which is why I like watching you. As someone looking to make a purchase on one of them, being able to understand the actual differences for ALL these foldables in those respective categories allows me to weigh them against what I'm looking for. I can't really find anyone else doing the same and it'd feel remiss otherwise. My two cents.

I've nearly decided to go for the X Fold3 Pro, but then I watched a video from Ben's Gadget Reviews showcasing the Z Fold 6 AI capabilities and other software features, and now I am not sure.... Would be great to see a full comparison of the software of all three devices... I heavily use Whatsapp, Messenger, Huawei Health (as I have a Huawei Watch 4 Pro), so for me these must work flowlessly. Possible incompatibility of other apps is also worrying, but I don't want to go into details as I have about 400 apps on my phone.... I am also worried about compatibility with various bank cards (i.e. Google Wallet), but the biggest one for me is the use of the S-pen as I've been using Galaxy Ultra phones with s-pen for many years and I would really miss that.

For me, personally if i were to go with a foldable for the first time it would be the xiaomi. Having a 13 ultra for almost a year I've grown accustomed to the processing and really like it. I can bare not having a strong 5x because I'll still have my 13 ultra to fall back on for that, but in terms of the upgrade from previous to next i agree that the honor wins this for sure.

exchanged my hardware beast x fold 3 pro for a z fold 6. and man! the software makes a huge difference no matter whatever anyone say. the app compatibility the spaces on the screen, oneui is on another level when it comes to actual fold experience (next to oneplus) but wireless dex alone is a different bread..... keep in mind I am an iPhone main phone guy so camera and zoom etc. is covered. the only manufacture that can stop Samsung is huawei, the only software to trash oneui is harmonyOS + google. Plus the magnificent hardware! even mate x2 from 3 years ago performs better than z fold 6 in hardware game.

As someone who has a sony a7iii a full frame camera phone cameras became much more of a tool I need to work for making pictures of Text or Posters but for good photos i use the camera. And phone cameras and videos wont even get close. So I dont care so much about minimal improvements. Get a full frame camera if you want a good camera and get a phone with a normal good camera even samsungs fold camera is good enough then. But even used you are looking at 1.500$ so it is not a impuls purchase and I get that you might not willing to spend so much but if you realy into photography a phone is no comparison.

@@Ruban-n9t yep plenty. They can be major hassles but they can be a lot of fun fixing up too. Most of the bloatware can be uninstalled or frozen and if you unlock the bootloader quite a lot can be done to mitigate the negatives. Apparently the Honour V3 has the Google framework installed so it'll be fairly easy to work around that and add Google apps. Be interesting to see if a western smart watch will pair properly considering it might not allow the installation of a non Chinese version of the companion app. I have had that problem before too.

Clearly... Honor pics were much better then xiaomi, comparing to Samsung, the normal pics were 50/50 as both were crisp and deep colored and each texture was perfect, xiaomi was bad, but edge to honor is the deep zoom crisp shots not Samsung is showing....

I now solely use the s24u for photography as the pics are way better. But besides that, I still use the Open most of the time.
