Jeff McCann was the recipient of the Cayte Latta Memorial Award for Visual Arts at the 2023 Honour Awards, held at the Ivy ballroom in Sydney on Wednesday 23 August 2023.
Jeff’s artistic ethos is to create inclusive works that encourage audience involvement and fun. He has been nominated for his striking body of works installed during Sydney WorldPride, which includes activations at Broadway Shopping Centre, The Rocks, Maroubra’s Pacific Square and Lucid Dreams at the Imperial Hotel. The Honour Awards provides NSW’s LGBTQ community with an important opportunity to recognise excellence, and celebrate achievements within our communities, as well as the difference that particular community members make in our lives.
Established in 2007, the Honour Awards is also a gala fundraiser for ACON, NSW's leading HIV and sexuality and gender diverse health organisation.
