Introducing Kaleido Health

Kaleido Health is a specialised LGBTQ+ health service that will provide integrated and multi-disciplinary care for sexuality and gender diverse people across NSW.
Opening in spring 2024, the centre will give LGBTQ+ people access to a range of primary care and specialist health services including general practice, sexual health services, mental health support, gender-affirming health care, drug and alcohol interventions, cancer screening services and more.
The Kaleido Health Centre will be established on Gadigal land, in the Belltower building within the South Eveleigh precinct in Sydney. The building is well-connected by public transport with the nearest train station, Redfern, linked to 14 major train lines and is fully accessible with step-free access via an elevator.
The centre will include GPs, mental health professionals, nurses, peer workers, and a range of in-reach specialists and allied health practitioners - allowing for multi-disciplinary care in a community-driven service and space. Services at Kaleido Health will be accessible statewide through telehealth and virtual consultations.
ACON has been working towards the establishment of a dedicated LGBTQ+ health service since 2016 and its opening in spring 2024 marks a significant step forward for LGBTQ+ health care in NSW.

We also acknowledge the support of our partners, including Sydney Local Health District, Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network and St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney.
Recruitment for key operational positions will be underway soon, and clinicians and other health professionals can register an expression of interests via the website.
We look forward to working with our many partners, supporters and communities in the operation of Kaleido Health and in improving the health of LGBTQ+ people and their families across NSW.
