I don't think it's appropriate to be suspicious of the the day, though YES I completely agree that a proper explanation of the significance of this particular day has to be prioritized. @@KennettaXMoon actually is important, cosmology and numerology plays a big role in influencing Divinity. Most celebrations, especially those of spirituality are not just chosen nje, theres a reason. We need to start aligning ourselves with cosmic energies. And I know the Afrosavvy team knows this because they know the African calendar, which currently Africans are not using or following, hence we celebrate even our new year on the wrong date

It should be held in September not May. To Nature and ancient Africans (okhokho bethu) September is the begining of the new season therefore its the new year in actual fact. August is the end of the year (dry season comes to an end) and September is a start of a fruitful season (new year) our forefathers celebrated it by going to rivers and moutains to give thanks to UMDALI(the creator) give thanks to UNOMKHUBULWANE and UNOMHOYI (nature deities) and veneration in reverence and respect to ANCESTORS. So tell me why May??? Africans you got to ask questions dont just accept whatever is given to you. May could be a celebration of other foreign Gods for all we know, they just need your divine energy to be elevated. Wake up!!
