Just made my floor this evening. Found a nice bit of 6x4 timber about 4 ft long so I scribed it for keel support and screwed it under the floor, might help at speed with the keel flex.

@@ryanferris7841 floor is a game changer, your measurements are bang on and probably a lot easier to install than a ally deck. Couldn't get up to speed today as it was too choppy but the boat feels more solid.

@@ryanferris7841 your right the rubbing won't be an issue but I might trim it with the 12mm self adhesive furniture trim 😉 and cover it with the grey version of your Eva.

@@zxgeorger I can’t see the rubbing being a problem whatsoever, it did cross my mind b4 i installed the floor however after close inspection and using the boat it’s totally fine! I was torn between the grey and teak lol just be careful when installing because it can be tricky have a good sharp knife for trimming or it will drag instead of cut!

Thinking of adding a plywood floor to an Air Floor boat? If so, did you put the Air Floor over the plywood or the plywood floor over the Air Floor? Or did you get rid of the air floor altogether? I am considering adding a plywood floor but maybe from the transom up to the start of the bow where it starts to taper. Any thoughts, advice? TY ! (Saturn SD 330 W - Wide)

Hi, Ok so my boat hasn’t got a separate air floor it has a built in keel/floor it’s part of the boat and cannot be removed my plywood floor is only a deck and provides no structural integrity whatsoever. In your case your air floor provides structural integrity and is needed to stop your boat from flopping about! Therefore a 12mm ply deck placed on top of your air deck is 1 option and probably the best option Option 2 take the air floor away completely and construct a deck however this will need to be made from stronger materials as it will replace the air deck and will be structural.

Now that is excellent. I have the T38, T35 and theT40 and I might well make this floor as you have done. Excellent work very well done. I love these sort of mods. love the seat in the T35 also what is that ?
