HOOD LATCH RELEASE INSTALL! | BOOMBA RACING | FOCUS RS

The latest mod in the RS engine bay!
One of the very first mods (if you can call it a mod!) that I did to my Ford Focus RS was put the Boomba Racing oil cap on. I had that piece already in my Fiesta ST and conveniently it was the same size in the RS!
I then added the other 2 Boomba Racing caps that I also had in my Fiesta ST which were the cap covers for both coolant and brake fluid.
These all matched in the awesome anodised red aluminium and really add some spice to under the bonnet. When I found that Boomba Racing made a matching hood/bonnet latch release for the Focus RS, I new I had to have one to complete the set!
In this video, I show how to remove the stock plastic hood/bonnet latch release and install the beautiful new Boomba Racing replacement!
I really love how the engine bay of my MK3 Ford Focus RS is looking now and there is more to come so watch this space!

I recently purchased a 2016 FiST and have been watching your videos. I'm amazed at all the litle differences from the European models to the North American models. Out "Bonnet" release is very different, perhaps more traditional? The headlights are different, the rear bumper cover is different and so are the badge locations. I'm certain there are many more. I'm not even certain that the Boomba Bonnet latch would mount on my car.

Yea you are right, more differences than most people might think. Boomba make things specifically for the US market. The differences are more our problem as we have to check if their stuff fits us but US models will be good to go

Slam panel bolts and clips might be in different places but other than that it will be identical indeed
