Well, as you can see I found this on youtube. I feel it is the honorable thing to purchase it from Timothy Wenk. After all, he is the creator of this amazing trick. In addition, He will send you FOUR links on how to perform the trick step by step with lots of detail. Also, his new improved gimmick is almost indestructible. Timothy is a great guy... why not support him? That being said, this fellow does a great job of explaining the performance (although not as well as Timothy,) so I will give him credit for helping me in deciding to buy Timothy's product :-) Magicians, keep the art alive AND support the inventors. Kindest regards, Keith

This trick was performed by Copperfield in 1990 (or even earlier). When Wenk was 10 years old.

Magic these days always has some trick in the old book and I see nothing wrong with that keep up the good work and don't let people tear you down your a great magician! ;)

THANK you! I fully support your idea that educating others is GOOD (unless you teach them how to do illegal stuff). Curious laymen like me will only learn a few tricks, and I am sure none of the magic performances I see next in my life will consist only of those tricks I learnt from you. So I WILL enjoy the magic. And will not regret I paid. But I will also entertain my family and friends with the tricks you taught me. You ARE doing good to people, Fernando, I respect you MUCH. P.S. Magicians have to invent new stuff to keep their business going. And it's good and right. Create new tricks, be always ahead of what is taught to laymen. That's the way to go. It's evolution and progress, eternal improvement.

Fernando dont listen to these assholes who are critical of you. Magic was a dying art before accessability to the internet inspired thousands of kids around the world who have rescued it from death. These assholes want to stop guys like you now that THEY have learned, but not before then. Years ago parents bought magic kits for their kids, now they buy video games and magic isnt as accessible. Videos like this inspire kids who otherwise wouldnt have access, or in some cases in situations where parents are too lazy or too poor to buy illusions for them. You keep on going. I for one am confident enough with my abilities to be innovative that I'm not threatened by a gag that is cool for kids but is only one step away from "pull my finger". Dont pay any attention to these asshole detractors.

thanks so much for this video. I appreciate guys like you that share the art of magic and how to's. it's people like you that will keep magic as entertainment alive. The greats meaning Penn & Teller are the ones we have to really thank. they strtd giving out secrets for one reason. They said they did it to force these huge magicians to come up with new illusions and tricks. they had gotten complacent and we're doing the same tricks over and over again. so when they strtd telling us how most of the tricks were being done it actually really did force them to invent new tricks. The only magicians that got pissed were the lazy ones.

Hoodwink ? Don't you mean Hood *WENK* ? (because this is Timothy Wenk's award-winning effect Misled). Support original magic creators and buy their material. (otherwise , guess what happens ? -- original creative thinkers will STOP releasing new original material because why bother putting in the R & D time and money when it's just going to be ripped off ? ) It doesn't make it your creation because you changed the color of the pencil from yellow pencil to black pencil.

The magic "industry" is a blatant ripoff. Why should we pay $100 for a trick that costs a few cents to manufacture? Oh, you're paying for the secret and not the manufacturing? I'm willing to bet I could find a version of this trick in some old magic book from the 60's. So what exactly are we paying for? Stop ripping people off and maybe they'll actually just buy stuff instead of making their own.
