The Best E-Bike Upgrade You Can Do

This video shows you the best update you can do for your e-bike. If you bought a full suspension ebike in the lower price category, there is a very good chance that it has a very heavy spring on it that provides barely any suspension at all, and has no damping. These cheap electric bikes come with the same suspension that you would get on a Walmart mountain bike. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as it means, you can buy the e-bike cheaper and put whatever suspension you want on it. The most important upgrade you can do for the money to improve your e-bike riding experience on a full suspension bike is to upgrade the standard coil spring with an adjustable air shock absorber. A bicycle air shock absorber has a valve on it that you can use to change the ride height, and the amount of compliance you have when you go over bumps. If you put a good airshock on the back of a cheap full suspension e-bike, you’ll find that the ride is a lot more comfortable and more like a motorcycle than a hardtail bicycle. It makes a huge difference, and these shocks aren’t too expensive. Almost every midprice ebike has a terrible rear shock on it.

Hello, today my Ape Ryder Bonobo arrived. I have some questions, please help me. I commented on other videos of you as well. 1. I didn’t find how to unlock the speed. Please tell me the exact steps, your video about that isn’t very clear. 2. This is more IMPORTANT! I don’t know if my battery is charging!! I got the battery off the bike and connected the charger to it, I don’t see anything that indicates me that it is charging. Just a green ligh on the charger, but it doesn’t change the color when I plug it. I would apreciate if you will help me. I am waiting for your answer!

I think I can help. The battery has an on-off switch on it, so you might have to turn the battery on to charge it. I’m not 100% sure on that. But check and give it a try. I made a separate video on how to make the bike go more than 20 miles an hour. I had to program it so it thinks the wheel is 10 inches tall, so the speedometer is off, but it can go maximum speed. Search for the terms how to unlockan Ape Ryder Bonobo, ebike and you will find my video.

@@hoohoohoblin If I set P8 to 100, the bike doesn’t move. I found a turkish video that says to set P6 to 0.60 and P8 to 50, I did that and it goes normal, but not fast. The turkish guy also said that I have to introduce some kind of password, wich is “999”, but I don’t know where exactly. Please help me, I just bought this bike, I live in a big city and I want to be able to use it properly!

This particular model ( shortcut ) is no longer available on amazon but there are others I was able to find one that fit the Jasion EB7. The 125mm fits perfect.
