yes it does, the silicone from the bowl will help keep it in place as well.

I just got the larger insert for the hydra bowl last week and yes it works with those as well. I thought the larger insert would interfere with it but the hydra is really well designed and the top still works with the larger insert. I'll try and remember to take some pictures to share.

I never liked screens , I always felt like I was losing something, even the lotus I feel like im losing some of the flavor spectrum on some tobaccos. Maybe ill pick one of these up and see.

+(skiz) I was adamant about not using them, but they were of low quality. This one was pretty good.

aluminum has a much better thermal conductivity than 304 stainless steel. 235 W/m.K versus 16.2 W/m-K, respectively. Assuming that a higher heat transfer is better. Aluminum is the only way to go.
