Steph, my husband and I had the same agreement for wrapping gifts when he was alive. He’s been gone for almost 18 years and, that one of the I still miss the most ab bout our relationship. So in my eyes George is a good husband, a very thoughtful man. You have a wonderful relationship in doing projects. Relish this because not all marriages are as wonderful as yours.

I love Rocco content! My Italian greyhound Capri died 18 years ago and she loved carrots too. Rocco reminds me so much of Capri.

Warren is lovely, I met him several times at tranquil lake. Very knowledgeable in rare plants. I had that same thing happen to my spruce. I was baffled by it. Such a great explanation. The bird seed ornaments were adorable. Oh rocco tuckered himself out fluffing the couch then fell asleep 😅

Thanks so much! I agree, Warren is fantastic. And those bird seed ornaments are so fun! 😊

I just organized my Christmas wrapping bag too, I use most of it up before getting any new as well. I only bought two small rolls for this year. Your Roco reminds me of my furry guy that waits patiently always lol!

This was such a wonderful video, I watched it twice! That recipe sure looks delicious. Sorry your favorite breakfast place is changing hands. That seems to happen a lot here on the Cape. I also have a stash of Christmas shopping bags, etc. In fact I just sent my niece a gift in one of the exact bags you had shown! Quick tip when working with parchment paper Steph. Crumble in your hand first then lay it out. It will be wrinkled but will lay flat!

This was a very enjoyable video. You and George make a great team and he wraps better than I do, too! I'm glad your garden sale went so well!! I made peanut butter cookies last week. 😂 I don't make a lot of cookies, except at Christmas; then it's usually 8-10 different kinds! 😂I don't even usually make peanut butter as a holiday cookie, but my sister developed a great recipe and I was craving it. Now I'm craving pot roast! 😂 Sorry about the breakfast haunt changing hands; that's always difficult. Hope you find a new breakfast place. 🤗

Aww I love Little Compton and it's a bummer your favorite breakfast place is closing ☹. I have a Blue Point Juniper that looks like something else is going on, but kind of like the look as it is nice and full. I made up some Peanut butter blossom dough and will wait for granddaughter to come unwrap the kisses for me. Your meal looks great as does the garden club offerings! Cheers and love your channel. PS My girlfriend is a stellar wrapper so she comes to help me out every year! (I help her in the garden)

So saddened to hear of the Barn closing. I go there for breakfast at least 5/6 times a year. Glad to hear that your greens sale was a success I wish I could have gone but I had previous plans. Will the WGC be having the plant sale anymore? I always enjoyed going to it in the past.

My friend Laurie was the first person to post this recipe! She was featured in The NY Times years ago. Her husband’s aunt made it up!! Yes, they are from Mississippi!

Next time deglaze your dutch oven with some of the beef broth to get up all the brown bits (flavor) that are rendered and pour into the crock pot. (If you're concerned about excess fat, use a fat separating measuring cup then pour the brown bits and broth into crock pot.)
