Love the log cabin pattern. I use the granny square a lot. Thanks for all the information about the stitches and patterns. Live your way to hide and carry the extra colors. I am making a granny square with blue and white using your way of carry on the colors band hiding them on the back side. ❤😅

I love this perfectly beautiful pattern. I never knew it was called Log Cabin Granny Squares pattern !!! A long, long time ago, when I was a teen ager, I was fooling around and made a similar pattern just out of my imagination, never knowing this was a real pattern!! It's been decades that I even thought about it lol. Thank you for posting this pattern!!! I'm sure yours is much more perfect than mine would have been so long ago !!! This is so incredible to me because it has "Log Cabin" in the Title which I have always dreamed of owning some day. Well, I just turned 61 n am sort of giving up on that dream at this point, but you never know, miracles do happen n that's exactly what it would take. I have been reduced to moving back in with my Mother n it's not a happy situation here at all. Being on Disability I can't afford any place of my own right now, but who knows what will happen in the future. Sorry I rambled here, lol. I just wanted you to know, don't ask me why, lol. But thanks so much for this Video I loved seeing it!! You are an excellent Teacher !!!

Love your videos, Robin, you are the best of the crochet teachers. Fun fact for people thinking of a color palette for any log cabin design, the center square is historically red because it represents the chimney of the log cabin.

THANK YOU !! YOU have just given me the perfect idea for the project I’ve been looking for since I bought myself 80 balls of wool last month 😅 with the idea to make a blanket but just didn’t know what style (Don’t tell my husband, he thinks I only bought 10 !🤣😉) I just love granny squares & I’ve NEVER seen this way/style before. I can’t wait to get started 😆 This is the 3rd project I’m doing using your videos- your explanations are so clear & simple to understand. Thank you for the ideas …. I’m a NEW fan !!!❤

Thank you Robin for the great tutorial!!! Very clear and easy to follow. I started my first one a while ago and instead of continuing to make one big blanket I've decided to make 4 squares and join them all together for a patchwork effect.
