I’ve had Visible over two years as of this writing (8/8/22) and I’ve NEVER had to buy a router to Bluetooth more than one device to the Visible hotspot. I’ve had my Windows AND MacBook laptops, my iPad Pro, Roku, Roku Streambar, my LG smart tv, and, my GoPro 10 all using the Visible hotspot at the same time. The only gripes I have is that Apple discontinued visual voicemail as of iOS 15 update and Visible’s “experts” couldn’t find out why it wasn’t working on my phone after hours and hours of chatting. BUT ‘I’ found out by googling though after my frustrations of no repair with the “experts” from Visible. SMH. Good video and good on YOU for wanting to help people out cheaply as possible though! ~Jim~

I have to correct what I said above it is not $25 a month for 3 months is $25 for the first month and then $40 after that they were supposed to honor the code three for $20 but I was very upset that it didn't work through their website so I had to pay extra money but still for $40 a month for unlimited internet is a step up in the right direction and getting this little router to work on there it definitely helped and using it as a repeater seems to work the best your repeat your hotspot and it works wonderfully if you have any questions don't take to ask and I will have an updated video on step by step on how to do it

Visible Wireless is awesome for $25/month. I use USB tether to my Linux desktop. The PC then shares the internet to a router for other devices to connect. Update: the new Mango router handles the internet sharing now.

Hotspot your phone to an Iogear GWU637 or another WIFI Ethernet adaptor, connecting to your router's WAN port, and you won't need to always run the PC.

I got a GL.iNet mango router. It is setup to repeat my phone's hotspot. I have an ethernet going to the PC. I am not worried about running the PC. I still can just take the phone anywhere and the PC will just be offline until the phone is back in range. No problems.

@@tonykeltsflorida Thanks for your post and reply.Today, following your example, I got my GL.Inet out of the camper and set it up as a repeater, replacing my home's router. It just speed tested at 13 Mbps download. Well over the 5 Mbps Visible hotspot throttle.

A couple things to remember is this is used with visible cell phone and we tether or make a hotspot and then we can use the router to repeat the signal if you have any questions please ask I don't mind helping if I can

Interesting that you are using the router as a repeater rather than tethering. Does that mean that you are by passing tethering charges? (Visible doesn't have those, just is slow @ 5 mbs and only allows one device to be tethered). I guess you have the phone set up to hotspot even though the router is just repeating? Can you use it as a repeater without having hotspot turned on? Sigh. . . . .nope. . .yes, no, Maybe? (I think you have to be joined in a group with other people to get the deals off Visible. Just online.)

What plan do you use from visible ? Is this just an 'unlimited' data plan ? And does the displayed router accommodate a sim directly ?

Remember when there is busy times you may have to reboot your phone to get a faster connection sometimes I have to reboot the phone three or four times before it connects to a decent Tower.

I use the Gl router when I travel. At home I connect to old Linksys E2500 router. Instead of the teather I use a Iogear WIFI adaptor into the WAN connection. That lets me carry my phone around with me. Right now I have 3 PCs, a VOIP, a Streaming Box and a printer networked. The 5 Mbs throttle isn't much of a problem but, sometimes the cell tower slows down with congestion.

Cannabis Deserves Descheduling, Not Rescheduling This report argues that cannabis should be completely removed from the Controlled Substances Act schedule, not just rescheduled to Schedule III. The Argument: Cannabis is demonstrably safer than alcohol, which isn't scheduled. Rescheduling still imposes federal restrictions on cannabis research, access, and economic opportunities. Decades of advocacy have shown cannabis has valid medical uses. The Report's Viewpoint: The Marijuana Policy Project (MPP) sees rescheduling as a positive step but believes complete descheduling is the ultimate goal. Call to Action: The MPP encourages readers to take action when the public comment period opens to support descheduling cannabis.
