They are just locking high cam can prob block the oil passage for it and get a few more PSI to important things they could do it in the map but just a few less things to worry about. Vtec killers emliminate vtec all together.

I was just on autotrader tonight looking at '92-'99 Civic hatchbacks. There are 17 in the entire country for sale currently. Only a couple of them are stock and not completely trashed. I have my fingers crossed on a '94 si. Gawd I hope it is what it looks to be.

eg6gsr I have a '91 crx si with 36,000 original miles. My uncle owned it since new. Looks as clean as it did the day it came off the show room floor. I love that car. I keep it extra clean to help make up for all my sins of b18 swapped turbo crx's in the past. I had at least a dozen of them over the years, was never smart enough to keep one stock. I do have one that's all factory style modified. A '90 with a total Integra type r conversion. Engine, trans, even the 5 lug and type r wheels. I would love to have a Civic to park next to the crx's.

Harry Balzak Ph.D. I've thought about it. The only thing is, I hate rhd. I had a Mazda 323 gtr turbo back in the day. It was a really cool little all wheel drive hatchback, probably the only 1 in the country at the time. It was like a smaller, lighter evo that made the same power. A guy imported it into Canada then moved to the states hoping he could get it registered, when he finally gave up, he went to junk it, and I scooped it up for $500. I never tried to get it registered, just slapped on some dealer plates and went out to the Canyons. I actually put mabe 20,000 miles on it, never registering it. But I hated the whole rhd thing. I eventually got good at the left hand shake and stuff, but it always just felt wrong. Eventually sold it to a guy who wanted to make a scca cone racer out of it.

I have a question for the owner of the last civic. What is the benefit of the b-series trans? doesn't a prelude engine usually come with an LSD? why wouldn't you want to use that and just lock out 5th gear and run it in the 1/8th mile. OR even better on a track!!!!!
