Sweet! I'm actually reassembling that exact version of the 5.2 v10 at work right now. I'd highly recommend taking apart and disassembling the intake manifold, remove all the flaps, and have the ecu retuned. those plastic flaps soaked in oil along with carbon buildup tends to break off and eventually enter through the intake valves. If you're lucky, it'll go through the motor and maybe wreck a spark plug causing a misfire, if you're unlucky it'll hang up an intake valve and either smack the piston or pop the rocker arms off to go for a dance in the head. the oil cooler buried beside the block, sandwiched by the alternator, also tends to leak oil through the o-rings. Those motors actually handle centrifugal superchargers pretty well too, especially with methanol injection. I'd be hesitant to push for peaky low end torque as it'll detonate excessively even with meth, so the steady rpm to boost ratio of those superchargers seem to be ideal. good luck with the build!

Better than the alternative that happened to someone i know through friends. He bought one of these impound lot cars, very similar story. Five months in, he woke up in the middle of the night, dog barking mad, yard lights in full swing...someone was stealing his car. Turns out, guy who had the car impounded was a smuggler, and somehow, SOMEHOW, nobody in the polish found out, and the guy was there to recover (covertly through theft) the smuggled items (don't ask me what, i don't know, like i said, this happened to an acquaintance). It unfolded into the dog breaking a tooth inside the thief(former owner)'s leg, cops being called, an ambulance, and our guy losing the car, because it became evidence. It was returned like a year after, a bit torn up. The car was a 1994 Audi, and all this affair happened in France.

Not many people know this, but this car (facelift version of the Audi S8, 1999-2002, D2 chassis code) was actually the worlds fastest production sedan for a short periode of time.

RONAN is my all time #1 favorite chase scene movie. No CG, no green screen, no gimmics. Just regular cars getting driven HARD.👍👍

Seafoam is amazing stuff especially on Audis. I've used it to fix several check engine lights.

Dope pick up Scotto. The window problem might be the plastic clips they put on the wire system. When the clips break the wire binds a bit and won't go up. Kind of a pain but not terrible to fix.
