Thanks! You could sing into the mic, though I'd say it's probably much better suited for talking into vs. singing. If you are looking to do Karaoke or something like that, this mic could probably work. It is definitely super easy to setup for outdoors. If you are going for a headset mic of more professional quality I would recommend a DPA headworn mic for singing into, which is something I have. The sound of those headworn mics are superior for headset mics

Yeah it should as long as you are within the range of the receiver and you are not heavily obstructed

We believe it works, as long as your mixer has a 1/4" microphone input or a combo 1/4" jack.

Hi, is the transmitter compatible with the Shure Pga31 microphone? it has the same mini cannon plug, thanks
@hoopsmiles5 жыл бұрын
Not sure about that. I know some mic brands, even if they have the same connecting plugs, sometimes require their brand to make it work. Also, some microphones require more power, such as my DPA headworn mic. When I talked to DPA on the phone, if I remember right, they said that the Samson mic systems were not powerful enough for that mic. I had to get a special adapter to plug it into a Sennheiser system that takes a 3.5 mm connection, which you think would only be compatible with any system with that input, but only was compatible with Sennhesiser. Honestly, I think your best bet is to call Shure and ask them if you could use this system with their mic.

Do you think this would be a good mic for a podcast guest who won't be speaking very often? I need one primarily for public speaking, but I'd like to be able to use it on my podcast as well if I have an extra guest.
@FIFINE5 жыл бұрын
To be honest, if it's not necessary, the best way to record a podcast is still to use a wired microphone. Even if the wired and wireless mic both come from some big name out there, the wired one would still be better choice with less audio quality loss. And if public speaking is also involved and hands-free is not necessary, a handheld microphone would outdo the lapel one, because of relatively larger capsule, which makes your voice more engaged. As for wired mic, you could consider our T669: bit.ly/fifinemicrophone-T669 for wireless application, you could take a look at the latest K040: amzn.to/2t86XI2

@arribalatia54514 жыл бұрын

@FIFINE4 жыл бұрын
Hi. We think what you're going to plan to do with this setup is to use 2 K037B at the same time, then the K040 or K036A or K036 are recommended for you! K036A: bit.ly/fifinemicrophone-K036A K036: bit.ly/fifinemicrophone-k036 K040: amzn.to/2t86XI2

How many Mics can you have connected to the camera at one time I'm starting a game show and going to need 11 Mics Set Up
@FIFINE3 жыл бұрын
In your case, you should use an audio interface to mix all 11 microphone and send the mixed signal to a camera. But this K037B system won't be one of those 11 mics you need, because only 3-5 sets can be used at one time.
@chilowoficial4 жыл бұрын
Does it echo or is it crystal clear when performing connect to a speaker?
@hoopsmiles4 жыл бұрын
I don't recall it echoing. Clarity will diminish the further you go away from the receiver as well as going out of sight at longer distances as well. If you are in sight of the receiver relatively close, I don't remember there being too much static or interference. I would refer to the mic test in this video, wearing nicer head phones to get the background noise during the mic tests. If you are looking for something that can reliably transmit a clear sound hundreds of feet away then this system I wouldn't recommend.
@FIFINE4 жыл бұрын
Like Hoopsmiles said, K037 seldom get the static or noise when performing next to a speaker. But we still recommend that you should keep the decent distance, like 20 feet or so.

What would be the best way to record two people outside? With two of these mics, would one receiver pick up both of them?
@hoopsmiles5 жыл бұрын
That's a good question. From the info I gathered about this system, it looks like you can't pair 2 transmitters to one receiver, which doesn't provide the option of 2 mics.
@clownworldcartoons5 жыл бұрын

Hi there, one receiver will pick up only one transmitter. But you just need a Y splitter, something like the one below. Then two receiver can be plugged into one mic jack on camera at a time. www.amazon.com/Hosa-YMM-261-Stereo-Breakout-Cable/dp/B000068O5H/ref=sr_1_1?tag=tecbri-20&s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1511977562&sr=1-1&keywords=Hosa+YMM-261+3.5+mm+TRS+to+Dual+3.5+mm+TSF+Stereo+Breakout+Cable

We think the K037B will do the job cuz the wireless microphone will free your hands to show the magic. Besides, setup and problem-solving is quite easy, no worry on it going wrong. Lapel and head-worn mic included meet the need for different on stage scenarios. If you got a mixer to do the EQ, the sound quality can be more satisfied for your need. Ps an external speaker is necessary.

@hoopsmiles5 жыл бұрын
You could use this mic for karaoke, but personally, I prefer to use dynamic handheld microphones for karaoke. Yes, this can be plugged into a mixer through the 1/4" jack
@FIFINE5 жыл бұрын
Just plug the receiver (the unit with a big connector) into the mic input (1/4" input or 1/4" combo XLR jack) of your mixer. But the capsule is far less than the one from a normal handheld mic. If hands free feature is not necessary, a dynamic handheld mic is a better choice for karaoke, especially you want the good clarity vocal. when I tried to use the lav mic on a portable bluetooth speaker (monster rockin roller 4 to be specific), I had to have the mic almost directly in front of my mouth for it to be picked up. I move it even to the collar of my shirt and I felt like I had to almost yell for my voice to be picked up. It kind of defeats the purpose of having an amplified speaker at that point. In your video, you had it so far from your mouth but the speaker still seemed to pick it up great. Any recommendations on what I can do on my end to get the same result?
@hoopsmiles5 жыл бұрын
I had it so far from my mouth because I felt like it was doing some serious clipping and was picking up too much sound. Have you tested this mic on anything else besides the speaker, getting the same result? If you do get the same result, I wonder if you have a defective set. I tested this mic on both a Bose S1 Pro portable bluetooth speaker, a Sony a6500 camera, and my phone and all of them seemed to pick up a high amount of volume on my end. Though this is a different system, another mic system I'm in the process of reviewing, when it originally arrived, one of the transmitters was experiencing horrible pop sounds on most the channels so I sent it back and got a replacement. When I tried the replacement, it was pretty much crystal clear on all the channels. I share that because I wonder if yours has something wrong with it and needs to be fixed or replaced. Before doing that, I would recommend testing it on other systems first.
@jyaparri5 жыл бұрын
@@hoopsmiles thanks for the reply! I've tried setting it up to my phone but I'm not sure how or if I need to purchase another adapter. Will keep trying though. Thanks and great informative video!
@FIFINE5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jyron, sorry about the problem. But as hoopsmiles mentioned the signal come in so strong, you should have turned down the level to prevent the mic from clipping, especially you use with a speaker that's got 100W output. I know it's not about the pairing issue, but you can still replace with fresh batteries and try with the reset method, which is showed on user manual. As for setup with smartphone, you need a TRRS adapter to plug receiver into the headphone jack. We got our own brand adapter, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to ask you to buy on our website when our wireless system may have ran into problem already lol.
