Sharpe already was an 18-20 ppg scorer before his core injury derailed him last year. 20 ppg is a good bet for this season and longer term, he'll "easily" develop into a 25 ppg scorer for his career assuming health. The question is whether he'll become a truly elite scorer, which is well within his potential and we saw plenty of glimpses of last season.

Giddey needs to prove he can shoot better & score more efficiently. I'll believe it when I see it. Definitely wouldn't want to bet on it. Especially now that he doesn't get to benefit from the OKC's excellent spacing and overall team play. Not sure why you think he's a solid defender. I don't really notice him on defense unless he's getting blown by. Advanced metrics I check frequently - EPM & DPM. Say he's a negative. Even if BPM says he's a slight positive. But, I often think BPM weighted too much to team performance for defense.

Jabari Smith and Shaedon Sharpe are very incorrect answers here. Both of these players are on teams that have many other guys that need to play. Sharpe is probably going to come off the bench this season because the Blazers have Simons at the 2 and Grant at the 3. Jabari won't breakout whatsoever because he's going to get even less shots now that Reed Sheppard is on the team, and both Thompson, Whitmore and Eason are also looking to get their shots off the bench. The only way either of these players breakout is if there are longterm injuries to players at primary or secondary positions, otherwise this take is very wrong
