Houston needs to give Green one more year playing for coach Udoka. Keep in mind, Greens first two seasons. He was being coached by possibly the worst coach in the history of the game ,Coach Steven Silas. I firmly believe playing under Silas severely stunted his growth as a player.

As a Cavs fan It'd be nice to trade Jarrett Allen for Brandon Ingram straight up. Mobley plays better without Allen, and we need someone at the 3 that can create their own shots. Ingram can generate his own offense pretty well. I'd also like if we could trade Donovan Mitchell. We could get a good haul for Mitchell. Garland will go back to all-star level when he isn't playing with Mitchell. Id like to see us get someone at the 4 spot that can stretch the floor. We could also aquire a couple first round picks & some bench depth.

You guys knew there was gonna be a but, right 😂 Prior the deadline Jazz was the most inform team in the whole league and the small ball lineup with Collins as a center, Lauri as PF and Fontecchio as SF was a actually pretty well rounded and the results were great. Trading Fontecchio away for nothing was a spineless move from a front office, affraid to miss out on a pathetic late lottery pick on a weak draft class. As they're in reality refusing to build around Markkanen, regardless of what they say in public, it would be just better to trade him instead.

35 mil seems a bit pricey relative to what he offers. Might have a habit of his most important contribution disappearing in certain playoff series as well. You said he'd be a 25pt scorer in another comment & you may be right. But, Denver doesn't need another great scorer. They need consistent shooting, and perhaps better defense. Might be able to find that in the trade market. & more easily stay below the 2nd apron. Maybe Avdija and Tyus Jones for MPJ?

KAT makes too much money, or rather, he takes up too much cap space. But Jaylen Brown makes too much money too and he had about as successful season as you can have. But long term, he makes too much money. This isn't the players fault, it's a flawed system. It doesn't make sense to have some guys making $60 and others making $1.5, how was that ever going to be a sustainable system? Best thing they could do is limit how much your salary impacts the cap space if you extend with the team that you started your career with
